As their paths cross towards a common goal, they begin unraveling ancient secrets. And certain events get set in motion that only a select few could foresee.

A small village was tasked with one important thing: to guard a mystical place known as Sol Sanctum deep within Mt Solus. When thieves manage to breach this sacred place, and steal the treasure found within, the task falls to two young ponies to venture forth and retrieve the sacred treasures and return them to their resting place. As they journey forth, however, they begin to understand that what they were taught may not necessarily be the truth. Will they keep their sacred oath? Or will they be willing to forsake all for the sake of what must be done?

A young, orphaned filly, who hasn't even gotten her cutie mark yet, is having trouble sleeping. Falling asleep is easy, but evey night at exactly 3 am in the morning, a voice calls out. A voice that only she can hear. When the filly shows up one day in Ponyville, Twilight at first is skeptical of the filly's claims. But when mysterious things begin happening, things that the filly has knowledge of, will she and her friends be able to accept the Truth? And if they can, will they be able to put a stop to it?

Rated "Teen" for now, might bump it up in later chapters. While this is not my first attempt at a fanfic, I'm considering this my first "real" fanfic. Feedback and criticism is always welcome.
