A Lion Cub.
Nopony was able to investigate how in the world the cub was there, not even almighty Princess Celestia couldn't figure it out. She senses that this lion cub has great power in him, but how much power does he have? While living with many ponies, find out about his life in Equestria as how he uses his superpower.

All I can say is intriguing start to this story. The characterizations, exchanges and bits of foreshadowing in the prologue are quite well done. And, yeah, the way Leo shows up as a cub at Twilight's entrance exam "1024 years in the past" was a good way to introduce the character and the implied adventure shared with a male griffon and female hippogriff (I have my hunches who they are, but I'll keep quiet both to minimize spoilers AND just in case I'm wrong) before Leo went back to the beginning was another great detail.
Anyway, on to the next chapter.
Yeah, again, very good job on the exchanges, characterizations and future chapter set-up in all the right places. Love how Leo is making sure Spike gets a bit more appreciation than he did at first in canon. As well as that bit of lightning speed to lead Twilight to Moondancer's party (and the reference to an earlier fire incident (fifty-fifty on whether that was Spike's doing or Leo's doing) and especially the message to Celestia to NOT send her response back for another hour. Definitely already seeing some differences from canon, albeit subtle at first.
VERY definitely looking forward to more of this.

I especially liked Leo's using the "Wind" elemental magic to go up and chat with Rainbow (particularly with how impressed Rainbow was by it) as well as the chat with Lyra and Bon Bon before the Sparkle Trio found Rarity.

Not much I can say other than really good job on the exchanges, characterizations and future chapter set-up. Really enjoyed how you showed what Spike and Leo were up to while Twilight and the others were busy with that soon-to-be-sleeping dragon. Especially enjoyed the two handling Fluttershy's animals and generally helping out around Ponyville. Definitely a good way to give Leo and Spike a chance to shine while still allowing Twilight and her friends to have their own heroic moments.

Thank you so much! However, it's not that you need to remove the Mane 6. You just need to include Leo in their adventures and actually have him beat some of the main villains. Also side villains, like the ursa minor, the dragon in either Dragonshy or the one where Spike runs away, ect.

Yep. Honestly, I never saw someone making it story about him on the Fimfiction side, so I thought of trying but instead of a human, I put my OC lion because I like it. Plus, I see many lions on other fanfic to but...it stories show the Lion King or Guard one meet Mlp. Not any of OC lion, if it has then it just not many.
