A Surprise after Butterfly
A few minutes later...
"Wasn't she wonderful..." Spike sighed, daydream about Rarity.
"Uh... Sure, but she needs to be taught some behaviour." Leo said
"For sure." Twilight agreed.
The trio proceeds to the next on the list, as they cross over the bridge a rather harmonic sound of bird song caught their attention. It would seem to be a chirping sound coming from a bird which makes the cub ears perked up, another thing is that the chirp sound wasn't one bird, it sounded like many singing together.
The golden lion turned to his brother. "Hey, bro. What's next on the list?"
"Huh? Oh! Music, it's the last one."
"Perfect, let's make this quick."
Three of them when to a bush before popped up on the other side of it to see what was going on. Sitting on a tree was a multitude of brightly coloured songbirds of various species, all of them singing and chirping in impressively blended harmony and the only one in charge of them is a Pegasus pony; her wings swaying a little as she conducted the bird song choir has a pale yellow with bright pink hair that was long enough that it could have drug along the ground if she was walking. A trio pink butterfly could be seen on her flank.
"It conforms." Spike check in the list, clearly was another pegasus for sure. "A pony name Fluttershy should be in charge."
Twilight seems thrilled, she just wants to end all of this mess. "Great, let me go alone for not having shenanigans from both of you."
"Shenanigans?" The cub asked.
"A silly or high-spirited behaviour for example; mischief."
"Oh..."
....
"Wait... We're not silly!"
Spike took that moment to step between the siblings. "Okay okay, you guys. Twi, just move on already."
The lavender nodded, she came out of the green plants as the trotting of the hooves clopping down the dirt road to meet with the last assignment for today. As the Unicorn getting closer to the music teacher, a few words can be heard from the pegasus.
"... Excuse me, sir. I mean, no offence, but your rhythm is just a teeny-tiny bit off."
By the looks of it, The bluejay closed its beak and nodded as the mare fluttered away from the tree again. "Now follow me, please. A one, a two, a one, two, three..."
"Hello!"
"Oh!!"
All the birds take off in a panic and made the mare whirl about with a shriek and seem to fold in on herself as she took to the air and looked around for whatever started the birds. For sure, it's was a purple unicorn aka Twilight Sparkle.
"Oh my, I'm so sorry! I didn't mean to frighten your birds." She apologises. "I'm just here to check up on the music and it's sounding beautiful."
Back from the boys, they peeping at the ponies patiently for following the order from their big sister, the tail of the lion wiggle left to right as seemingly he looks at a pegasus name Fluttershy who's now tried to hide her face by using her long mane. "I think she's social anxiety..."
The drake glance at him. "How could you ensure that?"
"Well, first of all, she was a shy one who teaching an animal for music for the celebration. Second, alone with no ponies in the area but can talk to the animals? And third, doesn't seem to have much of gut to chat." He answered.
"True, and Twilight seem to have no idea what to talk about."
The approach of their sister makes them come out from the bush as Twilight smiled with satisfaction. "Well, that's was easy."
"A BABY DRAGON AND A LION CUB!?"
In the blink of an eye, the Pegasus make a mad dash toward them and accidentally lunch Twilight in mid-air. The brothers gasp at the approach of the pale mare who standing right in front of them. "I've never seen a baby dragon or lion cub before!"
"Not to mention, both at the same time." Her smile to the non-ponies, forget about personal space. "They're so cute!"
"Well well well..." Spike grinned striking what he thought was a dead sexy pose but just made his pudge push out a little more on his belly.
"Thanks... I guess." The cubs feel uncomfortable for being too close to the pony.
"Oh my, they talk. I didn't know they could talk." Fluttershy flew to the air with a smile on her face. "That's just so incredibly wonderful. I-l just doesn't even know what to say!"
A purple magic aura came out of nowhere before it started to lift the youths to the skies, making them blinked, Fluttershy shocked at this as their land next to Twilight, with Spike on Leo back.
The Unicorn smiled. "Well, in that case, we better be going..."
As the trio trot down, the other mare follows as well.
"Oh, wait wait! What're their names?"
The baby dragon replied. "I'm Spike! And this one is my brother, Leo!"
"Hi..."
"Hi, Spike and Leo. I'm Fluttershy." A light gasp from her with closed eyes. ". Wow! A talking dragon and lion. Oh! And what your two species talk about?"
Not noticed by them, Twilight makes an annoying glanced at the mare.
"Oh, what do you you want to know?" The drake asked.
"Absolutely everything!"
This makes Twilight jolt a little bit as she let out a growled.
Leo saw this as he nuzzles her side. "Cheers up, Sis. At least, everything will come to an end after this."
The big sister sigh before chuckled. "You're right, Leo. Glad everything is done."
They laughed at each other as their younger brother start to talk about how he came from as a cute little purple of the green egg...
A few inches later...
"...and that's the story of my whole life!" Spike finished before added a little word. "Well, up until today. Do you want to hear about today?"
Fluttershy replied. "Oh! Yes, please."
So much story he can tell her like how he eats gemstone as dragon main food while the lion tending to eat meat since you know, carnivores. What makes Leo surprised is that this pegasus seems to not affair of him because she had cared for several meat-eating animals before and wasn't squeamish about it in the slightest, though she did ask to be informed before he hunted for anything so she could tell her pets to avoid the area he was in. But he's not like that 'cause he intelligence and he only eat meat called bacon which is the only things that not expansive for his parents to buy it. She also had offered a few theories about his parentage as well based on her experience with animals including several rare breeds.
But before anything else can talk, Leo shouted as he stops. "We're here!"
The other end their trotting for the sight of the big tree in front of them.
Twilight turned around facing the pegasus while her brothers come next to her. "Well then, here where we're staying well in Ponyville."
"Cool." The boys said before opened the door to go inside. Though, Fluttershy tried to enter as well but get halt by the unicorn.
"Oh! I'm so sorry, it's already sunset. Too bad, we still have to package from our home place so this is where we part away!" She smiled not want anyone in the library for now.
"Oh uh... there-"
BAM!!!
A squeak from the butterfly as the door slam shut in front of her face. Thankfully not hitting her muzzle or Twilight gonna pay the hospital treatment but she doesn't know what hit her next.
In the Library...
As Twilight enter the tree, everything completely dark in the library. She can't see anything with her vision of this murky place. She bumped into someone and it's her brothers, with Spike currently stand with his legs and not his brother back anymore.
"Why'd you have to do that, Sis?" Leo asked.
"I'm sorry you guys, but I have to convince the princess that Nightmare Moon is coming and we're running out of time!" She explained. "I just need to be alone so I can study while a bunch of crazy ponies trying to make friends all the time!"
"Now where's the light?"
CLICK!
"SURPRISE!!!" Shouted a large group of ponies as the lights suddenly came back on, surprising the unicorn and dragon as a party blower blows straight on Twilight face as she growled.
Leo was nowhere to be seen, a trail of lightning can be sawed from the stairs to the second floor.
"Surprise!" A pink pony popped out of nowhere. "Hi, I'm Pinkie Pie and I make this party for you guys! We're you three surprise? Were you? Were you? Huh? Huh? Huh?"
It's was the same pony before she ran off. Twilight seeing very odd for a pony to set up this party just for them until sunset. Probably, she asks for some help from this town itself, that's what her thoughts.
"Very surprised." She replied, can't believe this is not over yet. "Library was supposed to be quiet..."
Pinkie chuckled. "That's silly. What kind of welcome party with the theme is ever quiet I mean duh, boring!"
Looks to be she not gonna stop talking. The unicorn walk toward the table as the earth pony continue.
"You'll see, I saw you guys when you first got here, remember? You'll like 'hello' and I was 'gasp', remember? You'll see, I never saw you three before and I never saw you before that's mean you new. Cause I know Everypony, and I mean, EVERYPONY in Ponyville and if you knew and you did not meet everyone yet..."
While she keeps on talking to Twilight. Spike, on the other claw, is looking for his brother, Leo. But no luck, he can't find him anywhere, Fluttershy, who just next to the farm pony, Applejack. Noticed the baby dragon worry as she spoke to him.
"Uh... Spike, Are you okay?" The pegasus asked.
"I'm fine. But I don't know where my brother when off too."
"Oh, dear. Where could he be?"
"I don't know, at first, he was right here and then-" Spike paused, before realising what the reason his brother went gone.
He checks the surrounding area, yep. There like hundreds of ponies inside the library. He feels like an idiot. Of course. Where there's a party, there is a crowd for the party.
"Enochlophobia..." As the drake ran off to find her big sis.
"A what?" Fluttershy seems doesn't know the word.
Back to the pie and the star, Twilight was now poured a cup of glass using her mouth. Just as she about to drank, Spike comes in.
"Twilight!"
The hearing of the dragon voice stops her. Closed her mouth before looking at his brother.
"There you are, Spike. I-wait... Where Leo?" Forgotten about her second brother.
"That's just it, Twi. He's gone because of this crowd." Spike in worry states.
The lavender mare blinked. She looked around for sure, many ponies, which make her worry as well.
"He's probably upstairs right now." She put her hoof on Spike's shoulder. "Don't worry, I take care of him."
After that, Twilight went up to the next floor while the other in confusion states.
Rainbow Dash was the first to come up. "Uh... What's with the crowd, huh?"
"Well... you see, Leo has a phobia called Enochlophobia, which mean is fear of the crowd. Not everyone who feels uncomfortable in a crowd lives with Enochlophobia. Rather, this phobia involves irrational thoughts and behaviours that are excessive about the actual danger in a situation but Leo seems to have one."
This makes the five of them gasped.
"Oh, dear! How'd happen?" Fluttershy asked?
"It starts last year when Leo and I follow our mom to go buy some stuff. Twilight told me that he got lost by the Nobel of the crowd when we walk, got bumped many times before we saw a yellow lightning strike from the crowd, making them panic a ran away which is good for us to get a better clear of him but when we just got there, Leo in his lightning form with a small bruise on him because of shoved of ponies many times."
"That's simply horrible!" Rarity exclaimed.
Applejack spoke. "Huh? Then how can he still okay when he at the Apple reunion?"
Spike replied. "Maybe because he got distracted by a pile of food you guys give to us."
"Oh..."
"It's very rare to see this phobia though." Rainbow Dash tapped on her chin.
"Awwwww, doesn't this mean Leo won't be in the Summer Sun celebration?" Pinkie came in, with her sad feeling.
"Of course he will come." The drake explained. "Besides, it only happens when he doesn't fully know everypony in Ponyville. But! It has to take it very slowly for not having him panicked."
This makes everypony sigh in relief, as for Pinkie though...
"Okie Dokie Loki!!!"
Meanwhile...
Twilight knock on the wooden door three times like everyone usually does. She waits patiently for the response of her adopted brother, she concerns about this phobia he has. She's very smart, a noble who rise in a good way, have three brothers she loves and also Princess Celestia protege. So why can't she have noticed this before?
'He's my brother.' The unicorn thought. ' I'm being focusing on the preparation so I can study about the Nightmare Moon but not care about his dreaded at all.'
It feels bad about him, having a fear that the whole pony commonly used to live. Though this time she knocked on the door as he told her since back at the Ivory Tower. Don't want to waste any time, another triple knocked on the door as this time, a childish voice can be heard.
"Come in..."
The door opened slowly as the mare enters the room, it seems to be this place has a lot and a lot of bookshelves, on the wall or tree wall, for example, have plenty of pile of books, the bed is the side from the window which had a yellow curtain and a telescope following with a clock hanging next to it. There, was a lion cub trembling himself while pillows on his head, leaving his body and yellowtail exposed.
Twilight climbs up until she reached the bed itself as she right now lay next to him.
"Leo..." She said in a soft voice.
"D-Does everypony a-already left?"
"Not yet..."

....
The silence between the siblings, it very normal for someone to going out on dates which they don't even know what to say. For a few minutes, Leo chuckled.
"It's funny you know... I already declare that we will follow you until your happy but it looks to me that... it was my fault for your emotion turned to the opposite of the joy."
"It's not your fault, I just want to find out the truth about the prophecy..." She waits for a second, before proceeding. "I'm sorry... I understand you want me to feel pleased, and I wouldn't do the same mistake ever again, okay?"
"Really?"
The big sister nodded. "Besides, I know you keep eating the food that Applejack cousins provide on us so it will throw off that phobia away for temporary, right?"
The sound of giggle can be heard under the pillow as the eyes of grey appearing. Afterwards, a bright yellow light appears for him as every yellow on him has turned back to a silver-grey colour.
"Sometimes, I forget that you are very smart like Celestia," Leo said as a small smiled appears on his face.
A shine of happiness has returned to him, very easy to persuaded him because of how the relationship between the siblings grows.
"Feeling better?" Twilight asked.
The cub nodded. Just then, the door open revealed Spike. They blinked noting that the little dragon had a lampshade on his head for some reason and she wisely decided to ignore it while Leo giggles a bit.
"C'mon, you guys! It's time to watch the sunrise!"
He glances at his brother who smiling, making him knew that he feels better now.
"And this time, we watch each other, okay?"
They're agreed to the drake. As there headed to the Summer Sun celebration place would be. Little did they know, up at the night skies, a four glimpse of the star in the square formation are getting closer to the moon.
