Omg the revelation two more Villains leaf is chryssalis and grogar to be a kill list of him
Holy shit! This chapter is sooo~ good. If you keep making great chapters like this soon I won't be able to pick a favorite
Yikes! Poor Rayne he is really going to need to be careful with that healing magic of his I'm glad that Rayne's and Zecora's relationship has been sorted out that whole scene was really well done, I love it
THE BIG REVEAL
Holy fuck, I did not see that coming! I never even in my wildest dreams could have thought up a plan like that it's genius too! Gah! I love that the major points of the plan were laid out without going into to much detail so we get some surprises down the road I love the trust and faith he puts in both Maud and Zecora that Discord detector at the beginning of the reveal was great. wouldn't this make him an anti-hero? anyway, amazing chapter! Stay awesome

That's a good theory that you think Chrysalis and Grogar are left. But I will let you know that they are not his next targets. Rayne does not know that Grogar exists so it would not be possible for him to have plans to hunt him.
Secondly, Rayne would never do anything to hurt Chrysalis. He has other plans for her.
In the meantime you'll just have to wait and see to find out who his next big secondary target happens to be.

He already have three dark magic added to this two scumbag without corrupted that make sense as well for him chryssalis has more perfect shape shifting grogar have ball to see everything of he have all that power he only kill a bad guy not good one my guess of he use of on a bad guy is he technicaly an anti Hero.

So yes Rayne is technically an anti-hero. Maybe if he had been revealing his plan to Twilight he might have worded his explaination differently. But in revealing it to Maud, as well as how I wanted to introduce this concept to the readers, I specifically wanted him to state that he is a villain but only focuses on targeting other villains. An antihero fights villains but does so without the usual heroic moral code. However Rayne also has plans that go against those who he claims to want to protect. An example being his plan to rob Starlight of her magic. So really he is a villain to everyone but his focus is mainly on other villains.
As for Chrysalis, it hasn't been revealed what his plan is for her. He is certainly not going to reform her but he doesn't plan on hurting her either. His goals for Chrysi are a bit more... romantic in nature.

Ok that make sense
okay, Rayne needs to be stopped. Sombra clearly had some good inside of him and you mercilessly killed him and then wished a fate worst than death on radiant hope.
Part of me wants to stop now that I know Rayne has plans to hurt Starlight...but regardless, I shall read on
Fantastic read so far, I have literally been reading all day an i love it.
My only concern is why rayne didnt reveal to zecora the two names of his lovers on his cutie mark? Unless I miss read it somewhere...

Technically he may return her back from magic slumber and even return her powers to her. And the funny thing is she may not even attack him after that. But that only in case he figure out a way to reform Sombra before he decide to get rid of his horn completely. And yes, he technically didn't kill Sombra. At least not yet. He left him powerless and locked in his own magic, but surprisingly not dead. Even though Sombra actually deserves death for what he did in the past and attempted to do again.
Or he may find a way to erase her memory, so she won't remember what happened to her and Sombra.
Also, how exactly her fate is worse than death? Well, he put her on pause for now. But there's nobody to miss her and nobody but Sombra for her to miss (and he's still kinda alive). For her time won't move at all. She'll just wake up one day when he decide to do so. It's wrong for him to keep her like this, but I'm really glad he decided to keep her alive... even though it was quite obvious from the start. Killing and especially eating Tirek was wrong on many levels and he already dancing on the razor blade, but killing her would be the end of any resemblance of morale that he have. So, there's still hope for Hope.
I'm actually surprised how nonchalant Maud and Zecora was about him eating Tirek, though. They could agree that killing him was a right thing to do, but ffs eating his corpse was all kinds of wrong.
Rayne is a monster, plain and simple. He killed Tirek, stole magic form Sombra and Hope, manipulating others to love him. He's an monster, plain and simple.
