so when are we gonna see the sun avatar, and on that note i REALLY hope you dont make that person a child. it wouldnt fit with the pattern you made for the gate keepers.
Wow, I didn't think what I was saying was actually all that relevant to what was going on. Glad I could help though.

that's the right spirit... gore isn't bad as long as it's done right (same thing as with clop... don't just write it, use it right)
the poem in the end (as i said before) really was good... pinkamena good
What about Gilda? Can they still communicate or form portals?
Just thought of something. You mentioned earlier that you have an entire backstory for Slagteri, and in this chapter you revealed that he was a Heroin addict. I'm guessing that means that the conversion helped him get over his addiction. But did it cure him, or just suppress the desires? Since he is "effectively human" now, is he going to start having cravings again?
Woah, I influenced the story somewhat. Woah. That makes me feel kinda proud of myself.

He may have the power of a human, but he is not human. It's possible that he may try to go back, but I don't think his alterd physiology would let him enjoy heroin. He might try, though.
Also, I think changing specie would "reboot" the brain, so he may be temporarily fixed, but would still be vulnerable... Idk, never really thought about it...
Wow That was a Great chapter! This story is moving along nicely. That Klika wanted revenge is understandable. It was vary human reaction but a dark one. hopefully Rex can teach her compassion. Rex showed compassion when he gave the humans a choice in be coming a changeling. He did not lie, but left out sum information on the secant choice. He can't let them free to tell People about the changeling in there miss't. He made that mistake with Catherine.
Why did Rex take the time to mes with Catherine if he was going to kill or cocooned for the rest of her natural life? was it to finally give up on Catherine? Is this his way of coping with the lost of his first Love? Is he going to make a group of Changeling to keep an eye on the internet? Catherine got her followers from the internet.
There is a lot of humans that have lost there humanity. Even those they call themselves human. They are monster in human form. I hope that Rex don't git a lot of them in the hive mine. It may lead the hive in the wrong Direction.
There was a movie that I woch on TV. It was call day breakers I think. Vampires took over the world and in time the human raise became so small in number that the Vampires where starving to def and the human cud not populate at the rate the Vampires where killing them. That is sum thing that Rex need to look out for.
I do hope to see a new chapter soon. Not that you haven't been doing a great job in that regard. Keep up the good Job you are doing.

P.S. I am sorry if I use a homonym in my comments. My spell check program misses them.
Darn, I was hoping Rex and Catherine would work it out at some point... But keep going anyway
3974853 I really want to do this one. Really, really want to. Or Cadance.

There may or may not be a crossover with Spike...

If you want to write for Cadance or Celestia and partner, I would be willing to let you. Cadance will be getting a partner possibly within the next 4-6 chapters. Celestia's partner will come several chapters after that, and may in fact be one of the last high-powered gatekeepers to appear.
This chapter was a little disappointing. The conclusion of the "Catherine" arc seemed to come rather abruptly. I had been expecting some sort of more drawn out confrontation between the anti-changeling movement and the hive. To have it just so suddenly "and that's the end of that" is a bit off-putting.
There are also several ramifications that seem overlooked in this chapter.
First off, who is to day none of those in the anti-changeling movement didn't have "dead man's switches" of sorts set up? They might know who the members of the movement were, but they don't know who every single individual they've come into contact with. What if one or more of the anti-changeling members had set up with lawyers, personal acquaintances, or other individuals/groups, a dead man's deal. Wherein if they disappear or die, the individual they contacted release photos, video, and other evidence left in their possession to the general public? Having that suddenly happen might spread faster than the changelings can contain it.
Also had a thought on last chapter. While I found Selene's show to be cute, it also raises problems. People are going to note the crazy happenings in the sky. They'd also note when a city suddenly experiences a blackout immediately before said show in the sky begins and that will draw attention to the hive from places with higher power than the changelings currently have.
Next is the fact that gatekeeper occur in pairs. Gatekeepers are also linked. There's always one gatekeeper on each side. They exchange physical, mental, and magical traits between each other. They can communicate telepathically with each other. So if you kill the gatekeeper on one end, what happens on the other end? Since they're linked, wouldn't their counterpart on the other side die? I would think so given how deep the connection between gatekeeper pairs seems to be. That could mean that Gilda just suddenly keeled over.
The other possibility also opens up it's own problems. If Catherine chose to be cocooned instead, that could mean that Gilda on the other side, getting worried about why she hasn't heard from Catherine in a while, opens up a portal to find her cocooned and then sends associates across the barrier to free her (and possibly in the process freeing everyone else they have trapped in cocoons at that location).
Regardless of the outcome, it can't end as cleanly as we're lead to believe this chapter.
Mucho Gusta.
ohhh ok i was confused in the latest chapter but re reading this chapter im not confused anymore
The drama!
