After being humiliated in Ponyville, The Great and Powerful Trixie needs to get back on her hooves. Fortunately, she gets help but from a very unlikely source.

Fluttershy has been writing letters to her personal idol, Samuel L. Jackson, for seventeen years. Not once has he ever wrote back.

One day, he does write back. He challenges Fluttershy to obtain the Elements of Asskicking and become the Milky Way's most fearsome, most toughest, most skilled badass, and only then, will she become his personal student.

Will Fluttershy succeed in her noble quest?

The Shaper is a smith of unparalleled skill, her creations the most sought after in the fallen world. When a pony named Lyra comes to her with a unique commission she has to put all her skill to the test to craft a weapon of great power. For Lyra's goal is not an easy one, and it is not just any weapon that can kill a Dragon.

Shawn Spencer, psychic detective, is a thick-tufted boy genius who ice skates through life on polished blades of snarky eloquence. He has tested himself against some of the greatest criminal minds of his time and emerged victorious... though often through unbelievable luck and not a small amount of bumbling.

The Mane 6 face their own challenge, as an old enemy, tempered in the crimes of a much harsher world than theirs, returns to Equestria. It is a challenge they are ill-prepared for and one that only their strange, new, alien friend can help them overcome.

Twenty years before the Summer Sun Celebration that would set Nightmare moon free, Princess Celestia and thousands of other ponies simply slumped over dead with no explanation. A new lavender Alicorn with a magenta colored starburst cutie mark appears suddenly and takes the throne on virtue of her being the only one who can now raise and set the sun. Twilight, now calling herself Penumbra, is the only one who remembers the normal history of Equestria and her friends from Ponyville. Accompanying her are a cyan pegasus with a rainbow mane, known as Spectra, and an orange earthpony with a blonde mane called Malus - her daughters who appear to be some mix of their mother Alicorn and two unidentified regular ponies.
Now, on the longest night of the thousandth year, Luna has returned to Equestria, free of the Nightmare and her own powers mysteriously drained.
Soon Pinkie Pie, the Element of Laughter, and Vinyl Scratch, a down on her luck DJ, find themselves on a quest to assemble the Elements of Harmony while being forced to evade Penumbra and her children.

Bonbon has her doubts, but Lyra's initial play time seems to be working out For all Bonbon knows, Lyra might just come to love it more than anything else, and Bonbon fears she may end up loving it too!

Will they end up loving the Power Hoof for all it's worth?
