There is one thing that Luna cannot stand. Wasted potential.

Luna, Princess of the Night, Keeper of the Dreaming Realms, carefully watches over her subjects, looking for the disturbing signs of those who contemplate the unthinkable, throwing away their potential. And when they go to dispose of themselves, Luna does what she can to be there to collect the trash... which Luna usually discovers to be treasure.

So when a young pegasus can no longer deal with the daily grind and moves to take his own life, Luna is more than happy to claim it so she can use it for her own purposes.

You don't know how valuable life is until it is taken away and claimed by another.

Octavia has a unique way of finding inspiration, but as she does she reminisces about a day in her past. A day she will never forget.

My roommate's name is Octavia, or "Tavi" for short. She likes vintage red wine, soft pillows, and long walks on the beach. But, more than anything, she loves music. She loves it with a passion that radiates with every burning color of the spectrum.

Each day I spend with her... or without her, I learn a little bit more about life, about the sick beat to which we all dance, whether we know it or not. I hope you don't mind if I say a few things about her. Just a few things. One can learn a lot from Tavi.

After all, she saved my life.

Playlist - Because Even Original Things Aren't Original

A Spartan of the UNSC falls into Equestria and has various shenanigans in the land. First chapters revolve around how he meets the royalty, the mane six, and the new world in general.

Princess Luna has been through a tough life. A thousand years ago she could not control her jealousy, envy and rage and became the infamous Nightmare Moon. Then, she spent a thousand years on the moon, only to return, still as Nightmare Moon.

However, despite everything she has been through, her return to Equestria was warmly celebrated. Princess Luna is a pony that everypony loves, and she is completely forgiven for everything that's happened.

So, when Princess Luna is suddenly and unexpectedly killed, the entire nation of Equestria is thrown into grief and despair. Ponies everywhere find themselves unable to deal with the tragedy.

But the worst hit is Princess Celestia herself...

When Sarge, Grif, Simmons, Donut, Caboose, Tucker and Church investigate a temporal distortion, they get pulled into another crazy adventure when they are transported to Equestria as ponies! Teaming up with the Mane six, they are forced to protect the land and themselves from O'Malley, as the evil A.I. has 48 hours to complete his task.

Extra info:
This fanfiction does not take place in any specific period during the RvB timeline, but it most resembles the end of season two. The Reds and Blues are still at Blood Gulch, O'Malley is controlling Doc, Lopez still has his body and is still with red team, Tex is not present. Any fan of RvB can tell you that there is no period in the Red vs Blue timeline when all of these things are true at once, making this an alternate universe fiction. As for MLP canon, this takes place after the season four finale.

Helljumpers. Little Imps. Or just ODSTs. It doesn't matter what they're called, they're some of the best units in the entire UNSC, aside from the remaining SPARTANs. They've gone through rigorous trials to get to where they are today.

Over New Mombasa, this group of Helljumpers don't quite make it to the ground. Instead, they arrive somewhere none of them can quite identify...

Spartans are refined by fire. Through great trials and tribulations are they made into the men and women they are. Noble Six fought through those flames. Now he rises to face an enemy even more threatening than his last. He must prevent his own race from eliminating the very friends he sacrificed himself to protect, or risk both species from falling to an even greater enemy bent upon their destruction.

Great responsibility weighs upon the shoulders of those with the power to make a decision.

Lost, injured, and confused, the displaced soldier must come to terms with his new reality or risk falling into a terrifying isolation. All is not as it seems however, the super soldier having gained the attention of a threat that can rival even his strength and tactical wisdom. Will Ale choose a war that is not his to fight, or will he turn a blind eye as he struggles to find his peace?

For the most part this story takes place before season four, but it's been so long since I actually wrote this that things may slip through the cracks during the rewrite. I apologize in advance for this.
