It all happened, one rainy day.
Soon the colors of the world would wash her away.
The light would destroy her for the better,
if only somepony would let her.
A stain upon the earth removed.
Without her, lives improved.
But whose?

With Earth destroyed and humans colonizing the solar system, they greatly overestimated the world. While their technology grew stronger, faster, and better, the world around them decayed. Now humanity refuses to associate itself with the lost planet Sunsia, the other colonies close to declaring war. With no way to get off of the concrete jungle they live on, their only hope could possibly a certain cyan pony with an affinity for speed.

Twilight wakes up, strapped to a hospital bed with a nasty enchantment that begs the question, why do they want to keep her here so badly? Stuck in a dream for two days, and with a little filling in from her friends, she learns that not only she has amnesia, she perhaps committed some very terrible crimes to pony kind. The mystery only gets deeper from there as conspiracy theories, tragic lifes and the severity of Twilight's madness gets uncovered.
Needless to say, she breaks free.
(This story takes place right after/in between Lesson Zero.)

Trixie had just gotten her cutie mark. She left home, and is now traveling the road. All she has is her carriage and her prized possessions. But of course Trixie is new to the harsh and unforgiving ponies that she meets in Canterlot.
