Why is Derpy going around interviewing ponies with a spoon? Does she have an alterior motive or is she just acting strange for its own sake? Either way, you can never ask too many questions....

Rainbow Dash and Fluttershy goes to Cloudsdale for a maraton flying competition, where they meet up with Derpy,(who's currently involved in a relationship with the Mayor of Ponyville). While there, Rainbow Dash befriends a pegasus that gets her and her friends into trouble. And now, more than just glory depend on her making that maraton run.

By chance, Fluttershy discovers a series of strange leaves in the Everfree Forest. She, together with Twilight, tries to get to the bottom of where the leaves come from and what they might mean, and they stumble across a mystery centered around Sugarcube Corner. A little bit of ponies, a little bit of Lovecraft, sprinkled with a spoonful of sugar and frosting.
