Hmm, this seems like an interesting idea. An alternative universe where Spike isn't a baby dragon, but grown up like the Mane 6, and Rarity falling for Spike is a nice idea.Though this does bring into question whether Spike feels the same way about Rarity as well or if he'll be oblivious about it.

As this Dusk Shine ficiton proved, such alternate universes normally don`t work out very well.
This first chapter is nice, laid out well enough to capture the eye of the reader and would work very well as a prologue. I would personally like to see where this would be heading. But keep in mind: Don`t go too much OOC with Spike and Rarity.
PS: I would like longer chapters, anything under 5k words is just so quickly read

Not all stories have happy endings, and not all happy endings are predictable. As for the CMC, well, I'm not going to age-reverse the ENTIRE town, but I think that seeing the CMC as older sisters (not in Scootaloo's case, but you know what I mean) while keeping the same relationships will be interesting. For example, Sweetie Belle keeps trying to help but ultimately frustrates Rarity.

I'm in Iran right now, and I don't get back until the 17th or so. Then it's my birthday and Halloween... but after that, I should get back into the swing of things. It's just hard to balance school and update 3 different stories at once
I probably won't get to updating very quickly until the end of October.
Well, this is a few years before Nightmare Moon. The events from the show haven't happened yet- basically, it matches up to about a few months or so after the Mane 6 get their cutie marks. The only actual differences between that universe and mine are that the CMC and Spike are older than the Mane 6.
