Joined after being a Brony since at least 2013. I want to write stories about lesbians and odd off ideas I have, proven I ever got around to that.

In this Equestria, major conflicts are solved through rap battles. Unfortunately, the Mane 6 are not well equipped to deal with rap battles. Luckily, two ponies appeared out of nowhere and one of them just happens to be an up and coming rapper. Going by the names Boyfriend and Girlfriend, they say they're not from Equestria, but some place called Earth. They also say they're not ponies, despite being such in Equestria. Stuck with seemingly no way back home or as their original species, they must now make a living in Equestria. Not that this will be easy, given the amount of problems Boyfriend will have to solve through rap battles.

A Friday Night Funkin' crossover in an Equestria not quite like canon.

This is a fever dream. I have no words, besides the ones you’re reading right now.

That was an interesting read.

I liked that the arrows were visible and they got called out for using rap noises instead of lyrics.
The lyrics were fine.

However, is it intentional that BF is so raunchy ? Didn't expect him, and even the others to soeak so openly about sex.

All in all, thumbs up, I'll read the next chapters.

Damn, Boyfriend is blunt.

The only thing I know about Friday Night Funkin' is the name but this seems deliciously silly so i might keep an eye on it or check back later.

Celestia's dialogue was funny.
I really loved parappa back when i was younger.

I hope I can keep living up to the Comedy tag I put on this story. I don't want to treat the story too seriously despite some more serious moments here and there.

I wonder if others know about PaRappa as well. I haven't played anything like it before, since, well, it pretty much invented the rhythm game genre and I played it around the time it first came out. Friday Night Funkin' has in part been inspired by it. I do have some memories for it, like how I first played it on a demo with just the first stage playable. I recalled playing the actual game on easy and not being able to access the later half of the game till then going on normal. I even had to tell someone at school about this. One of my cousins played the game and I was surprised when he kept hitting the same button several times during the 1st stage and it actually worked. To think he accidently freestyled and effectively played better than me or my older sister did. Rarely even now I'll say to my older sister, "Kick, punch, it's all in the mind."

Oh my gosh, that game memory was adorable.

I love it when people tell their personal stories on games.

The story is getting better, thanks for replying to my comment.

Thanks! I have been meaning to get updates out sooner, since there is a lot I can work with so writer's block is less likely to kick in as soon. I have plenty of fond memories of games I've played, especially in my early childhood. But that wouldn't be so suitable as comments for this story as they would be way of topic by this point. The PaRappa bits were mentioned due to the kinda cameo he had in the story.

Then how were they able to beat Nightmare Moon and all of the other big villains?

As stated, rap battles. Yeah sure, it doesn't make a ton of sense, but it's similar to the logic in Yu-Gi-Oh! in which card games are how most major conflicts are handled.
Unless you mean how Nightmare Moon was defeated a thousand years ago. Well, in that case, not everything was explained yet. There's still time to go into those details.

Y'know, its really amusing how almost every single Time People make it like all on the Grand Galloping Gala Was entirely on BlueBlood's Fault and thus make it as if he was Scum whenever they write him when you have Rarity that just Wanted That high-status Stallion instantly Falled In Love and sweeped her Off her Hooves simply because her Pretty Face.

¨B-but...hE wAs MeEeEAn¨so?I dont Hate Rarity or something,But she really should have Know Better than to Idealize Someone she Literally Dont Knows and Expect him to be everything she Dreamed off. does that Make what BlueBlood did That time be Fine?no Really, but that doesn't change the Fact that Half the Fault of everything that happened to Rarity was her own because Despite the Red Flags he keep showing, she Keeped Following him Around In a desperate hope He Still somewhat Fitted her Fantasy and when predictably he didn't she then Snapped at Him. even thought since The very First Time he Demostrated he is not the Gentleman Rarity Imagined She could have Ditched Him at ANY moment. In no moment BlueBlood maked any Effort to Keep Her Company and she WILLINGLY stayed until she was got beyond her Limit. come on Rarity, Dude Makes you Use your Dress to get Across a puddle and you Honestly think is a Good Idea to still Keep being around him?Where you THAT Desperate for a Easy Life as Nobility?I really believe the Gala Was one of the Lowest points of her Characther as a Whole.

Long story Short:ppl love to stick it All on BlueBlood, yet ALSO Love to Act like Rarity wasn't Pretty Much A Gold Digger that would had been Fine with Being a Trophy Wife of a complete Stranger if it meaned easy Fame and Wealth.Funny thing That word got throwed around here on this. y'all Ask me I Will say they Both Acted Equally Awful.nothing More, nothing Less.

Its such a Relief That Canon did it so much Better: Rarity Growed in Later Seasons, and even seems they Both made up in Sweet and Elite.

I... oh... well, this is tricky. I'm not sure if you make similar comments on other fan fiction that happens to portray Rarity and Blueblood in this manner, especially with him primarily being in the wrong. I'm going by what I can gather from canon, with tweaks and twists here and there. Prince Blueblood really is that shallow and one noted, at least in that particular episode. Now I could have given him more dimensions to his personality, but that's not the purpose of this fan fiction. Heck, the show itself probably doesn't go that deep with Rarity being at fault, especially to the same extent that Blueblood is. It fits with the general theme of the episode that the Gala wasn't like how any of the Mane 6 expected it would be. This fan fiction is a pretty abridged version of events. I'm aware that's many fan fictions that redeem Blueblood and make him a much more interesting character, who's more of a flawed pony than an outright villain. This is not that fan fiction.

I forgot Blueblood shown up in a song during season 2, even after looking him up on the wiki to make sure I get certain details right. Even if he did redeemed himself by that, this takes chapter takes place before that. The rap battles involve characters who are generally considered villains, even if redeemed later, although this probably won't include every single one. Although among the numerous reformed villains, Blueblood doesn't seem to be one of them. Although I think I did shown Rarity being pretty vain with how quickly she joined Twilight's harem after being rejected by Blueblood.

Although I'll find it very debatable if canon did it better. It doesn't portray her in the wrong that you see her as in that episode. Blueblood was basically an one episode only character aside from a moment in a musical bit later on. And yes, Rarity does get character development later on along with most of the main characters.

Great rap battle BF! Hoping for more raps.
