Dear Anon,

I write on behalf of my hungover older sister while tormenting her with overly peppy 'morning pony' attitude. You may feel this to be a cruelty beyond what she deserves, but I was forced to haul up the fat-flanked drama-queen of a star after putting my Moon to bed, and as always when I am forced to this labor, I feel the need for a mild form of vengeance upon my elder sister.

I know not what she feeds that thing nor how she could spoil a giant ball of plasma and nuclear fury such that it pitches a fit if anypony dares to haul its heavy rear into the sky, but I am entitled to the sweet sounds of Celestia begging me to close the curtains, for it happens but once in ten blue moons.

I digress, however. I would be happy to have you fetched from dear Twilight's home post haste, and shall even prepare the regrowth spell myself!

Truly Twilight does make too great a fuss that her mother sees fit to care for her and correct her faults, for she is blessed with a powerful and wise matriarch, and I have great faith that Twilight's incidents shall at least half in frequency, neigh, quarter!

I shall see you upon the turn of an hour - and do bring your box of loud music disks, for my sister has a most unfortunate headache. SHE SHALL LEARN NOT TO TELL THE STORY OF MINE YOUTH AND THE MONSTER BORN OF ALFALFA AND BUTTERFLIES!

I resonate with Luna on a spiritual level here. I don’t drink, so when there is a mandatory function at work, I always end up the DD. It’s the little things you can torment them with that make it all worthwhile. Also, while I could never BE as crass and sassy as Anon, I could see being friends with someone who just doesn’t give a buck like him.

In my first year of college my roommate came home blackout drunk several times, and i had to make him sleep on his side so he wouldn't drown in his own vomit twice. Thankfully he never actually puked in the room. He did however pee on the carpet I had brought from home while staring up at me as if wondering how I was floating over the bathroom.

I have never had to be a designated driver for some drunken twit, but I have plenty of spite against the drink and those who overindulge burning merrily to draw from to write a chapter like this. I just imagine my own jubilation if I could be the one to have raised the star that sent their headachey miserable mess scuttling for heavier blankets.

I had a guy at my last unit that everyone knew had a problem. Not that he was ALWAYS drunk, but he would show up just a little tipsy at the wrong times, and would always be hammered on Friday.

His roommate told us about how he started to shat himself in the bed, so he told him to go into the bathroom. He disappears in there, comes back out without pants, passes out on the bed. Roommate goes into the head: vomit on the toilet, crap all over the shower curtains and floor. Tries to wake the guy up but he is knocked the hell out.

The guys who lived in the next room over shared the same head, and they ended up cleaning it, despite the roommate insisting the drunk should clean up after himself. We never let him forget.

Last I heard he was getting med sep’d for a destroyed liver. What do you know...

There were very specific and unlikely circumstances that allowed a bit of soft tissue to remain, but it was most definitely not alive.
As for the bones, well, there aren't good numbers for reattaching JUST bones, for obvious reasons, but a finger can go as long as 12 hours without preservation and still be reattached. That's probably the closest analogue.
