... I'm assuming she's making a grave lapse of good judgment here?
All of this story has been absolutely terrific, but this chapter... this one was just awesome. Certainly not the longest chapter, but it packed a hell of a punch with every exchange, every bit of dialogue. It really did twist my heart as Fleur spoke to Fine, and I love it when the emotions jump off the page that easily.

You'll just have to wait and see.

Funny, I was thinking it wasn't as strong as it could be. Glad to see I'm doing better than I thought!
7373533 Looking forward to it as always, Paul!
7373326 Manely, because the next Mane Archon has to kill the previous. (I'm not sorry)
Well that's one way too deal with a Psychopath. Well done Fleur have a cupcake.
Silliness aside I enjoyed this chapter Fleur indeed has become a rather interesting character in her book. I see you really enjoy writing about her.

I do. I really do.
Hmm... PA? Who do like writing for more: Fleur or Octavia? I'm assuming Octavia's the last character focused book before the finale, too.

Hmm... that's hard to say. On the one hand, Octavia got a huge story and I enjoyed writing every second of it. It's also one of my most popular stories, of which I am far more fond than anything Fleur ever appeared in.
At the same time, Fleur has starred or at least made appearances in many more stories, and every time I took delight in her role. Add to that her major role in Reddux the Tyrant. And then there's the second major story I'm planning that will star her, which will finally explain the gap between the No Heroes and Fleur universes. Through sheer commonality, it could be argued that I favor Fleur more.
I think we'll have to reserve that call for after I've written Octavia's story, just to see which I enjoyed more. I've had some strong scenes in mind for both of them, and their paths will inevitably cross – in both good ways and bad. This will, in effect, be the very first time I've written the two together, and it's going to make for some interesting material. At least to me.
But you're right about the order. I had planned from the very beginning to make Octavia last. Part of that is how much I favor her as a character, but I also feel that the events in Octavia's story may have the greatest impact on the book(s?) to follow.
