Fine Crime has been chosen by Celestia personally to undertake a job he has never wanted. Yet obvious curses can be hidden blessings, for Fine realizes his job is more than just to serve Celestia. He must find a way... to end her.

Sorry for the belated response. You're right, at the moment I have plenty, but if I need some more in the future I'll keep you in mind.

Okay thanks.
Woh! Seems Rainbowdash also thought Gulfstream was a Psychopath, still saying that out loud within his presence that is really low.
Hmmm strange Twilight backed off? I'm surprised the curse allows that, I mean the main six seemed possessed when they fought Trixie. None of them were acting like their cannon show self. Yet here Twilight stands down. I must say I'm surprised by this event.

And my response to all of this is:
What curse?

Okay below I have pointed out some lines from TvE which made my believe the main six were under some sort of curse.
That sounds more like Luna's former lovers have no choice in the matter. They have to seek Trixie out as if something is compelling them to do so. A normal rational being wouldn't go to such extends. Also each time when Trixie defeated them she was able to somehow reconnect them to their true selves. As if a curse had been broken.
I don't know for sure if there was a curse or not but to me that main six were cursed seems logical to me considering the lengths they went in the fights.

A normal, rational being most certainly would go to those lengths. They do it all the time, every day, all over the globe. People who appear normal and reasonable 90% of the time will come unglued if you push the right buttons. Celestia is pretty good at figuring out what those buttons are.
There's a lot of history you aren't seeing, history that can't be thrust into the story without making big contrivances that would cheapen the overall plot. Each of the Mane 6 was badly hurt in ways both physical and deeply personal, giving them their own high stakes, bitter grievances and unpleasant desires. They each have lived very different lives from what we know, under different circumstances and facing different environments within an altered culture. While the baseline of the characters are there, their life experiences are wholly different, and as such their individual views have shifted in subtle ways.
But in this AU, there's such a thing as fate and destiny, and it acts regardless of altering timelines. Each of the Mane 6 were born with the intrinsic ability to be better, that potential simply had to be shown to them.
There is no curse affecting these ponies. They have simply become the targets of royal manipulation, changed from their ordinary paths by forces beyond their control and tempted into thinking the wrong way. All Trixie did was show them a different path. They handled the rest on their own.
The good news is that the next step in the TvE franchise is a series of sequels centered on each of the Mane 6, which will show us the world from their perspectives and give the audience much better insight into the decisions they made in the past.

Not everyone is a killer or capable of doing the act. I mean for some taking an other person life is a huge undertaking for a sentient being. Yes you have Psychopaths but that's a whole different thing. When I applied to the military in RL the 1st thing they did was testing if I was able to take someone's else life. In other words did I have the killer instinct. They explained to me that it has nothing to do with upbringing but more with a person mindset.
You have heard the term war trauma? I mean when war veteran has nightmares about the lives he/she took during active duty that is called war trauma. Those are actually good examples of persons whom don't have killer instinct but were forced to take someone else life, and once they get back to society those actions will start to haunt them. Such persons would never take another person life unless they were forced to.
Yet in TvE it's stated that several of Luna's lovers have been killed. Only the main 6 are the survivors. While a person mindset is indeed both upbringing it's also genetics, thanks too the main show being a slice of life we can actually see the core of each individual. For genetics v.s upbringing one only has to look at Pinky considering how different she's compared to her family and yet there is still small glimpse in the show about her upbringing that shaped her.
But back to my point, while I'm not an expert in the manner, I only know a very rough about the basics. But if I look at the mindset of the main six only Applejack would be a person whom has the killer instinct because she's such a grounded person. Btw you did it awesome with Rainbowdash story in TvE. She was in clear denial but the subtle hints that the life she took haunted her was a good portrayal of her actions. She falls into the category of not having a killer instinct but being forced to take someone else life. There is namely a difference in survival instinct and killer instinct. Both are capable of letting a person take another ones life but they should never be confused for the same.
I wonder if in the sequel your planning that the main 6 seek professional help. That we constantly skip from past to present. As they tell their stories to the shrink about their past actions as well their recent ones and how they try to cope with it. Their relation with Trixie and each other. It would be in my opinion be a very interesting build up.

I won't deign to argue with you on this particular subject, but I will point out one thing: yes, Luna had others, and yes, many of them died as a result. But there's room in your statement that they may have been killed by the Mane 6. Just in case that's what you are thinking, I want it to be clear that that's not true. In reality, Rainbow is the only one guilty of that. One might argue that Twilight is as well, considering what she did to Sunset and how she did nothing to help Broken Twilight.
The thing that I've never touched upon (to my own detriment) is that while Luna has had many pay attention to her, only the Mane 6 could really be called her 'lovers.' The difference is Luna's level of personal involvement. Essentially, if Nightmare Moon recognized that Luna was developing strong feelings for a pony, even platonic feelings, then she'd inform Celestia and the Duels would be arranged. Otherwise, they were little more than food to be played with, at least as far as Nightmare was concerned.

I start to see what you mean now. It also explains why Trixie succeeded where the others failed. Trixie wasn't in love with Luna to start with. So she was uninteresting for Nightmare Moon and in some intends to Celestia. None were aware that "Alicorn" Twilight had briefly contacted Trixie. Or at least not in the beginning. Since Luna and Nightmare were separated during that time Trixie was able to succeed.
It's clear that Celestia finally got wind of it, because she set up that little trap of hers with Pinky, even though it's not in the story I wager she was even aware that Fluttershy was hiding underneat. So that Trixie had to fight two lovers at once. More evidence that Celestia was trying to sabotage things is when she had ordered Twilight to use the Alicorn Amulet.
But there is one thing that still bugs me. Why didn't Celestia played it safe? Why didn't she just killed Trixie personally at the moment she realized the Unicorn had become a threat? Even after the moment that Nightmare moon had been vanquished by the elements she still didn't go offensive while it was clear the bearers were out of breath. Instead she went monologuing revealing to them what she really was and what she had done to each of them. Smart thing to do was simple blast them all in a blazing inferno. Yet she didn't. You portray her as an evil subtle mastermind. Yet these decisions simple don't make sense.
I have theory why she did this considering it was mentioned several times that Celestia wasn't whole. Because Celestia is pure evil she always choices the most malevolent possible way to hurt others and thus she isn't even capable of taking a pragmatic choice because she isn't whole? Can you tell me if this is correct or not?

I cannot confirm or deny anything that you have said, not the speculations or the theory you've proposed. The only thing I can state with certainty is that some things will gradually be revealed as Order of Shadows continues. Once each of the members gets a background story, I will continue with an eighth book that covers the events of TvE from their perspective, thereby revealing a few extra insights into the things Trixie dealt with. At this time, there may or may not be a point where Celestia discusses her purpose and goals with Fine.
Hmph. I really need to read the other fics of this universe.
Either LD or Summer will suffer some gruesome fate, I'm calling it now.
