Life is going well for Luna, until Nightmare moon manages to kidnap her conscious mind, using the power of the moon she manages to send a distress signal out.
Yue is the incarnation of the moon in his world, and he heads the distress call and tells his Mistress Sakura. Sakura and her husband set off to aid this mysterious voice and are surprised when they arrive in Equestria.

For a CCS crossover first impressions are not at their best. The way Nightmare Moon comes back is a strong issue akin to the problems with S2 25-E26 and acknowledging S4 E25-E26 sets alarm bells ringing. However if you've approached the inclusion of the greatest anime ever in the right way then there's hope for this work yet.
Okay, it's not very redeeming as of yet but it's no worse for this. Your choices for character progression are understandable but I am concerned about how the dynamic's gonna work without Daidouji-san.
Nothing major to criticise here although I am uncertain as to some of Kinomoto-sama's lines. First off, if She's referring to the Voice card specifically when She says 'Koe' then She'd actually say 'Voice' because the cards' names are in English. Secondly, unless you're suggesting they moved when reaching adulthood, they'd've come from Tomoeda, close to Tokyo.
Seems to be getting quite complicated at this stage.
Now that's a substantial redemption for this story for Kinomoto-sama has nigh-effortlessly bested Nightmare Moon.
Ah, now we're in recognisable territory. In my eyes an encounter between the Princesses of Equestria and Kinomoto-sama would be something like this (as a homage to one of the greatest epics of our time)

Princess Celestia: Okusama. Sakura looks up. You bow to no one. Celestia bows, Luna bows, everypony begins bowing to Sakura.

I'm fully aware of where Sakura would come from unfortunately I was unable to come up with a horse pun so I went with the closest thing I could think of. My wife who introduced me to CCS loved my joke.
And what did you think of the story as a whole?
5197987 In its entirety I think that the premise is great but your execution seems to have brought down the drama a bit too fast when crunch time arrived even by the standards of CCS which does resolve issues pretty quickly.
And what's so punny about Kyo...? Oh.
One more thing. They wouldn't introduce themselves the first time round by their given names without their family name(s).

I tried to make it feel like an episode of the show. I also didn't know what else to put in there. My wife pitched me the idea of Sakura in Equestria. The first version was horrible with Tomoyo running around all the ponies. This was second version and I drew a blank on what else to do with it. I wish I had known you before I could have used someone else to bounce ideas off of.

My wife has the series on DVD and we watched it in Japanese. I watched the English version back when it was aired. I definitely liked the Japanese version better.
