Chapter 6: In The End
“I think they’re waking up.” Pinkie Pie says
“Pinkie give em some room.” Applejack says.
Sakura opens her eyes only to look into the eyes of the aforementioned pink party pony. “Personal space please, Pinkie?”
“Oh goody, you are awake! Now can I throw you a party?”
“One of your parties does sound tempting.” Luna says as she wakes up. “But I could really just go for something to eat.”
“Okie Dokie Lokie.” Pinkie says as she rushes off.
“Princess Luna what happened?” Princess Twilight asks.
“Nightmare Moon held me in within her power.” Luna answers.
“I thought we destroyed Nightmare Moon.” Twilight states.
“Apparently the elements separated her from my body. It took her some time but she worked up enough power to capture me.”
“Will she come back again?” Twilight asks.
“There’s no chance of that.” Sakura says. “She is with me now.” With that she pulls out the card and shows them.
“You turned her into a card?” Twilight asks.
Sakura nods. “It’s how my magic works.”
“I brought muffins, and scones, and biscuits, and..” Pinkie starts only to be silenced by Twilight using her magic to shove a muffin into her mouth.
“Thank you Pinkie.” Twilight says as Luna uses her magic to grab some food and starts eating. The rest of them dig in.
“So party?” Pinkie asks hopefully after finishing the muffin..
Sakura sighs, “We should probably head home soon, I’m not sure how long Yue and Kero will be able to make a gateway.”
“Yue is the one I contacted, yes?” Luna asks.
Sakura nods, “That is correct your majesty.”
Luna closes her eyes for a minute. “I contacted Yue, he says they will open the gateway in the morning.”
Pinkie grins. “Yes Pinkie,” Twilight says. “That means a party.”
“Yeah!” Pinkie practically screams as she heads off to plan the party.
“Should we be scared?” Sakura asks.
“I doubt it.” Twilight says.
“I’m sure y’all will enjoy whatever Pinkie has planned.” Applejack says.

The next morning our heros are all gathered in the throne room. “I have directed Yue, the gateway is going to open up right here.” Luna says. “I can never thank you for what you have done.”
“It has been our honor, your majesty.” Sakura says as she and Syaoran bow to her.
“It is I who should be bowing to you,” Luna says as she and the others all bow to Sakura and Syaoran. “We are in your debt, if you ever need us let us know.”
“Of course, we will remember that.” Sakura says as the gateway opens open right in front of them.
“Bye!” Pinkie says as she hugs them both.
“We’ll miss you Pinkie.” Sakura says. “You’re a good friend.” Pinkie lets go of the couple and they go through the gateway.

“Eventful trip?” Yue asks after Sakura and Syaoran appear in front of them.
Sakura holds up The NIGHTMARE, “I’d say.”
“You made a new card?” Kero asks surprised.
“And we made some interesting friends.” Sakura says. “I hope we get to see them again.” She puts the card back in her outfit. “What is this?” She pulls out of photo of a group of ponies and chuckles. ”Pinkie must have slipped this into my pocket when she hugged us.”
“Ponies?” Yue asks.
Sakura grins. “Oh, that’s right, you don’t know.”
Syaoran takes the camera out of his bag. “It gets better.”

Ah, now we're in recognisable territory. In my eyes an encounter between the Princesses of Equestria and Kinomoto-sama would be something like this (as a homage to one of the greatest epics of our time)

Sakura makes the expected bow to Equestrian royalty.
Princess Celestia: Okusama. Sakura looks up. You bow to no one. Celestia bows, Luna bows, everypony begins bowing to Sakura.

I'm fully aware of where Sakura would come from unfortunately I was unable to come up with a horse pun so I went with the closest thing I could think of. My wife who introduced me to CCS loved my joke.
And what did you think of the story as a whole?
5197987 In its entirety I think that the premise is great but your execution seems to have brought down the drama a bit too fast when crunch time arrived even by the standards of CCS which does resolve issues pretty quickly.
And what's so punny about Kyo...? Oh.
One more thing. They wouldn't introduce themselves the first time round by their given names without their family name(s).

I tried to make it feel like an episode of the show. I also didn't know what else to put in there. My wife pitched me the idea of Sakura in Equestria. The first version was horrible with Tomoyo running around all the ponies. This was second version and I drew a blank on what else to do with it. I wish I had known you before I could have used someone else to bounce ideas off of.

that was interesting. I have CS on DVD and used to watch the English version on TV.
(can't decide if I like Kero's little kid voice or surfer dude voice better-wink). I can see
Tomoyo and Mizuki awwing at the population. very cute and entertaining. can't wait
for more.

My wife has the series on DVD and we watched it in Japanese. I watched the English version back when it was aired. I definitely liked the Japanese version better.
