Remembering was always the hardest part for Applejack. With her parents dead because of Rarity, she struggles to continue with her life. But she keeps taking small steps with Rarity as her companion. Applejack learns that in the perpetual cycle of life you either move on or succumb.

Never read a filly AJ and Rarity story before. All I can say is ...this was interesting. The characters were good, although I found it hard to get much of a connection to AJ's parents. They were cool and all, but being there one moment and gone the next when its only the start of the story makes them more of a set up for what AJ does next.
its a great way to mess up a filly by having both her parents gone. It could explain the whole, granny smith being the only elder around the home and all though
I was having a hard time grasping how hooves could grab a ladder like that, but other than the tradegy scene, I had not problems. You get an upvote and I have no idea where this is going (so I'll follow this, even though it appears it will only be short)...

Very emotional start to this story. I'm interested in seeing how Rarity and Applejack fall in love after this traumatic event. Can't wait to see the rest
