There is a shadow to all of existence, a place that all worlds are shielded from by a thin veil. A Dark Place, where a single presence plots and struggles to consume all creation with its darkness. The author Alan Wake is one who has defeated this Dark Presence, but to save his wife and his world Alan had to remain trapped in the darkness.

Now, through his struggles to return to his wife, Alan has unintentionally released the Darkness and an old villain upon Equestria. To fix the mistake, Alan starts a new story with Twilight Sparkle as the protagonist. Can the unicorn find the strength to face the darkness, or is all of Equestria doomed to be the victim in the dreadful horror story?

Note: Story assumes no preceding knowledge of the game Alan Wake. Written for any MLP:FiM fan to enjoy.

Our lovably grim Max Payne is sent on a one-way journey to Equestria via bullet express.

Okay, it is very psychologically dark! This is Max we're talking about.

The war with the griffins has escalated to the point where Princess Celestia has gotten desperate. So desperate that she has asked Twilight Sparkle, Unicorn General of the pony forces and the Element of Harmony to complete a very specific mission; Assassinate Prince Alistair of the Griffin Empire. But Twilight takes it a step further...

This story is a spin-off from one of my previous stories, namely 'A New Harmony' You probably don't have to read the first one, but it might answer some questions.

What happens when a certain griffin returns to seek revenge on the pegasus that abandoned her, and what lengths will a pony go to in order to save the mare she loves.

Sequel to 'Always connected' that follows Rainbow Dash and Applejack as they enter the war that was started because of Gilda. They learn about all of the sacrifices that the other elements of harmony made, while at the same time coming to grips with new powers in order to fulfil an ancient prophecy that indicates that they are the ponies destined to end the war... or die trying.

Spin-off from 'A New Harmony' that focuses on Pinkie's life during the war and the terrible choices that she has to make to save herself, and her new friends. One question overshadow's her life throughout; What is the Pinkie sense?
Please note; The Alternate ending chapter takes place in an alternate timeline to the rest of the story.

Spin off to 'Always Connected' and explores the repercussions for the mane six in the wake of Gilda's attack. With two elements of harmony down, they must find replacements. A certain time travelling pony and his wall eyed assistant come to their aid as Equestria is plunged into war, and difficult decisions are made that will change them all forever.

With one day before the war games, Equestria's human champions must lay low. Where though, can you send the almighty group of humans?

And there came a day unlike any other-
When champions found themselves in Equestria united against a common threat.
On that day, they became heroes.
The invincible viking, Dovahkiin.
"What's a viking?" asked the dragonborn, turning to look at the the other champions.
Soma Cruz, Prince of Darkness.
"Hey, no- Just his incarnation/split soul/potential something or other," said Soma, arms thrown out to the side in a shrug. Even he was not sure what to call his situation.
The Dan, angriest hero there is.
"I have a last name you know- And who is talking anyway?" Dan had each of hands resting over both hips to look around.
Nathan Drake, fortune hunter and historian extraordinaire.
"I still don't know who Daring Do is supposed to be," Nate questioned with a raised eyebrow.
And Phoenix Wright, the first Avenger.
"That's copyright infringement! But we do need a team name..." Phoenix rubbed his chin in thought.

"You are not helping Pinkie Pie!"
