The past hurts, and no one would deny that. Everypony has a downside in their life, good or bad, but talking about it can be difficult, and for Rainbow Dash, its just like that. Her friends know nothing of it, and guilt is taking her over. Many have noticed her change in attitude, but none would dare say anything. But when her friends step in, could they help her? But more importantly, can Rainbow bring herself to tell them about it?

When Rainbow Dash realizes she's late for a sleepover at Twilight's, she has no idea what's in store for her that night. What ensues is a trial of emotions as everypony tells stories about their foalhoods and about their parents. What they have to reveal will change how their friends perceive them and how they perceive their own lots in life.

On an average day in Ponyville, Dusk Shine and his friends find out the truly fascinating side to Rainbow Blitz after he accidentally eats some Poison Joke. The encounter with Blitz's other persona leaves the colts dazed and lost in another Ponyville and they soon discovery that there isn't just a mirror image of the town, but also of themselves. Maybe some mysteries will be unraveled and ideas brought to life.

When Dusk Shine brings his friends together one day to try to solve the biggest problem to all pony kind, boredom, a sudden interruption brings these plans to a halt. They end up having to survive in the universe of their female counterparts (male for Spines) and their close encounters with them. Can they manage to find a way back home, without blowing their cover and causing who knows what?
