In Equestria, everypony views heroes as stories for fillies and not to be taken seriously. However, in another reality, heroes do exist. When a dimensional transport portal goes awry, a certain vigilante finds himself in a colorful land full of ponies. And he isn't happy. Will Batman have to fight his way out of Equestria? Or can even the most dark hearts find peace?

Batman will be based off the arkham city batman universe with a few villians thrown in.
other heroes will be mentioned or have a minor role.

Another story for Rust and Blackwing's ever-popular universe, Chess Game of the Gods.
Our hero this time is a gamer, who has awoken on our favorite planet full of ponies, gryphons, and other lovely creatures.
But it's not the area he wished to start.
Not in the body he believed he would obtain.
And quite certainly, not in the current situation.

Taking on the name of a famous hero, he's hoping to rally the forces against those who would eradicate the dead. Adventure awaits in the four corners of the world, and he's gonna explore...a good portion of it. And throughout it all, he hopes to prove two things:

Light does not mean good, and Dark does not mean evil.

My life was simple: Wake up, go to work, go to bed rinse and repeat. Not the most exciting or fulfilling life, but I like it. It was simple, no one ever bothered me and most importantly it was orderly, no chances of me getting into harms way or going off to do something stupidly dangerous. Then again most broines don't know the difference between the real Equestria and one they wish to believe in...and I'm getting the front row seat for this shit storm. Yet another extension in the universe Rust and Blackwing created and along with the many other contributers. I would also love constructive criticism and feedback. Also a big thanks to Aoi, i know you probaly have heard this before, but your awesome. I'm Griffin, not much else to it. I've been bullied most of my life, which left me bitter and sarcastic. I'm a closet brony. What? You think I'm just gonna go out and tell a world that hates me that I watch a cartoon intended for little girls? I don't feel like giving the punks at school any more ammo. That's when cosmic powers decide I need to take a trip to my favorite fantasy land. But all is not sunshine and rainbows and it certainly won't be after I'm done with it. Equestria from the point of view of an extremely pissed off teenager, with a twist. Rust, the author of 'The Ballad of Echo the Diamond dog' is awesomesauce enough to have a cross over between our stories. Carnelian is a boss when it comes to art. Part of the 'Chess Game of the Gods'.

Sup, the name's Mark. Or was Mark, anyway that's not to important anymore. Just know that while I lived on Earth, I was constantly under pressure to follow the rules and fit a mold that didn't fit well with me. My life was constantly controlled by a system I despised.

Well since getting sucker punched into Equestria by a goddess those days are over. Being the one and only Winged Wolf in the known world is a huge help to being able to make my own rules. I'm finally free to do what I want, when I want, and how I want and that's exactly what I'm planning on doing.

Set in the same universe as The Ballad of Echo the Diamond Dog and Griffin the Griffin.

I did get permission from both Rust and BlackWing to use the same setting as their characters. Go read both of their stories. They're awesome. Reading them is what made me want to write this story in the first place, so if you liked this, you'll fall in love with those stories.

Added the Dark tag just in case. There will be a decent amount of violence later on. Will add character tags as they become important to the story.

Nothing is as they seem. Equestria, a land that many would assume to be the most wonderful world to exist, is all a miraculous illusion. Its joyous environment and lovable equines are all an incredibly convincing lie. Beneath the folds of this world's false beauty is an environment so horrifying, that the most rudimentary of the truth would chill the blood and freeze the heart. Trust me. I would know... a freak like me has seen this world on the inside and out, and has witnessed the terrors it contains.

You think I'm mad... I can see it by the look in your eyes. You think my story is impossible, eh? Well, it's not your fault for thinking that. Who WOULDN'T be driven mad by the horrors I'd seen? But I assure you... all of it, every last word down to the last period, is true.

Now sit down, please... and I shall tell you a tale like none which you have ever heard.
