The Canterlot Caverns are a strange and enigmatic place, untouched and forgotten by pony-kind for centuries. So when a strange metal object is unearthed in their depths, it's up to Twilight Sparkle and Lyra Heartstrings to discover the many secrets it holds.

Together, the two of them will have to do their best to understand the remnants of an ancient civilization, and decipher what remains of Those Who Came Before.

The Summer Sun Celebration has rolled around again and Princess, avatar of ruler of Equestria, is going to Ponyville.

Twilight Sparkle, gifted magitechnist and personal student to Princess, is going out of her mind with worry as she tries to both plan the event and do her best to investigate the threats from the group of ponies known as Dream Valley.

Trixie is just living each day to the next as a streeside performer in the cramped districts of Canterlot and trying to get her life on track.

Whether they realise it or not, they, and the rest of Equestria, are quickly caught up in a spiral of events that will take them all across Equestria's ravaged countryside.

But when Celestia and everypony else recieve her she's skeletally starved, filthy, and very nearly dead. Meanwhile, while everypony's eye is turned, a lusty Blueblood pursues Twilight Sparkle, intent on adding her bloodline to his own so his family might step closer to godhood. (Alternate Universe, there never was a Princess Luna)

A Man. He hungers for vengeance from a time when the world including Equestria was still primal. It was before Celestia and Luna graced it with utopian peace and harmony. What if every thing about their rule is built on the bones of other civilizations? What if those old pony tails aren't just stories but the few bits and pieces that remained of the truth? Tiberium. The infamous green crystal that destroys entire worlds in its wake of global proliferation. It has been a little over a century since the Tiberium threat was first wiped out on Earth, and with it, the primary vestiges of the Brotherhood of Nod. When the GDI advanced humanity to the stars, they found that Earth had not been the only target of the alien Scrin: dozens of other worlds had already been claimed by Tiberium, and the Scrin returned in full force, attacking human colonies across space, stopping human expansion. To fight back, the GDI undergoes a reformation to become the Interstellar Defense Intiative (ISDI) and enacts the Hallman Directive, designed to stop Tiberium spread wherever it may be; such a protocol brings the reincarnated ITC Methuselah to a planet being ravaged by the green crystal, and the forces under Commander Martin Alexandra deploy to stop the threat.
