So long story short, a brony and pegasister are sent to Equestria as Pokémon and they don't know how it happened or why. Now they must travel through Equestria to either find their way home, or live out the rest of their lives in a new world in new bodies. And only one of these questions will be answered.

"Where is Fluttershy with the cuddles?"

Name's Storm. It's my title, my alias, and my identity.

I've been fighting for centuries now. Thousands of them, in fact. Traveling from dimension to dimension, trying my best to maintain proper balance. Not too much Law, not too much Chaos. Not too much Good, not too much Evil. At the same time, I am different. I have something that's unimaginable. Something that strikes inspiration in allies, fear in enemies, and horror in Gods themselves. A piece of interstellar technology I so aptly named the 'Universal Editor', a device that enables me to 'edit' the Strands of Existence, which then allows me nearly impossible feats.

After a close-encounter and failure to perform my self-imposed duty, I escape with only a flesh wound (or seven). Only to fall right into a realm packed with mythological beings, heavy emphasis on peaceful environments, and colorful technologically-inept equines that constantly try to become closer to me. Let's see how far my remaining sanity will plummet after this...

An archeologist finds himself pulled into a parallel world by Discord's storm of Chaos, and encounters the mysterious creatures that live there. How will a rational human, confronted by creatures out of mythology, and unable to find his way home, adapt to his environment? Only one way to find out.

Apparently, I wasn't the first human to walk the face of Equestria. In fact, there were a million before me. But for a different purpose, they existed. And to resolve their problems and the past of their creator, I was brought into this world. There was no time for rejoicing or playing around. A duty had been bestowed upon me, just another Human in their eyes, to bear the power that was locked away inside every one of us. To find what was lost to Earth for so long.

But hey, it's Equestria. Things can only look up from here, right?

Based on a true story. Kinda. Not really.
A man named Jason previously led a rather melancholy life before he died violently. No surprise there. But as he wakes up in Equestria and is thrown into a foreign body, he is forced to survive with the guise of a changeling. Taking place shortly after the failed changeling invasion of Canterlot, how can he keep from being revealed by new security measures, and blend into this new world, while making use of the most unlikely of allies? But of course, avoiding ponies only turns out to be the easy part when trouble has a habit of reading its ugly head. Really though, what could go wrong?

He hailed from the Rift, the home of his people. His blessing was granted by the two Goddesses of Light and Dark. He was chosen to brave the wilds to make his pilgrimage. It was time for him to face the beast, the Great Wyrm: That which would eat the Ley Line whole. Passed lesser beasts and the allies of the Wyrm, his boons aided him, and he dispatched them. Until they finally met for their confrontation. His resolve, unshakable. He would face the unholy monster to save the world. With Light and Dark coursing through his sword, he hewed it. Ever did the Wyrm try to unmake him. It seemed victory was near for the savior but the Wyrm was a tricky creature. It would buy more time before facing this mortal again. And so the Wyrm expelled him to the other side of the Ley Line, far across the sea, to another land. Thus the Wyrm would slowly journey, recovering its strength to meet its enemy again.

Thus begins a new chant of his journey in the land beyond the Ley Line, and how he and the Elements of Harmony bridged the gap between their two lands, and saving the world in the process.

Note: Genres of stories will be added as story progresses. This story is a loose crossover between Outland and MLP: FIM. Its mostly FIM, but Outland is loosely applied with a different canon and mythos. Also, don't expect this to be updated as averagely as other stories here due to IRL stuff. I'm strictly doing this for my enjoyment.

In addition, I find this story a nice way to introduce a native-human race that exists (in this fanfic) in the same world Equestria resides, but is separated by the powerfully dangerous Ley Lines. For a map of reference, go to this link below.

NOTE!!: This story is currently in the process of being re-written/heavily edited. Many of the flaws of the story will get fixed in the following months. The story ( while technically complete ) will be labeled as incomplete. I'm also adding a new scene and I'm thinking of adding non-canon endings but as of now, misspellings, grammar mistakes, multiple POVs, and any other areas that need fixing will be my main focus for this. Chapters that have been edited with be marked with an asterisk. Whether a chapter has been redone or not redone, I hope you'll enjoy the story either way.
