Twilight Sparkle is trapped in the body of a human who in turn, has taken her own and disappeared with it. Nopony believes her: not her brother, friends, nor mentor. She is being interrogated and asked a single question: Where is Twilight Sparkle? When she tells them that she is the one they seek, torture follows. Twilight begins to lose hope and weighs the question: What's the point of going on when even the world bets against you?

This is the creation of the Elements of Harmony's users manual, from the point of view of a certain number 1 assistant.

Twilight decides one morning, that she needs to create a guide on the use and properties of the Elements of Harmony, using the scientific method as her (rough and incomplete) guide.

While Celestia runs the Day Court with the important business of keeping Equestria running smoothly, that leaves Luna to deal with the business of the Night Court. Sadly, this means dealing with those ponies and issues that could be charitably described as "nuttier than a fruitcake."

Such is the case when Princess Luna, her faithful court clerk Night Audit, and rookie night guard Star Cluster have to deal with a moose that unexpectedly arrives at Night Court just hours before an important ambassador is scheduled to arrive. Where did the moose come from? Why is it there? Will it stop eating all the royal ficuses? Will Celestia notice the chili powder in her toothpaste?

When the forces of nature come crashing down on a cold night, Scootaloo takes refuge in the only place she can call home: The Cutie Mark Crusaders Clubhouse.

Frightened and alone, only the arrival of a young mare with a mane and tail of rainbows can settle the filly. Scootaloo will soon discover that sometimes the pony who means the most to you as an aspiration, can also be the pony whom you take refuge with at the end of the day.

Sometimes, curiosity takes hold of us, and we have no choice but let it lead to wherever we are going. Whether in life or in dreams, we are slave to the mysterious force. And now the ponies all over the world are looking to discover a myth. A myth as old as time itself. A myth that only one pony, and that one pony alone, knows is true.

"We have to be brave now, Scootaloo," Dash said. "Just close your eyes, and it'll be all over by the time you open them again."

Fluttershy has been plagued by nightmares, and Twilight wants to help her get rid of them. But when the bookish mare begins to pry into the depths of Fluttershy's unraveling psyche, she finds more questions than answers. What do her dreams mean? Why won't they stop haunting her? And why does the creature she keeps seeing inside them seem like more than just a simple night terror?

Let me tell you a story about the bad place.

Synopsis:

In anypony's life, there are the big days--tragedies and adventures, moments of loss and love, treasured memories to share and never forget.

But for every single day that comes once in a lifetime, there are hundreds that pass by unnoticed. Sometimes the simplest of moments can have just as much importance and life as the dramatic ones.

Here one can find snapshots of these moments--the every day, often unseen or even unregarded days of the lives of a variety of ponies.

Because every picture, no matter how common, is worth a thousand words.

Everyone has an imaginary friend growing up: a stuffed animal, a companion to guard us when the monsters come knocking and the like. We know them and love them; they mean everything to us. But have we ever stopped to ask what we mean to them?
