Disguised as the lovely unicorn Cherub, she starts up her business, ready to reclaim what she had lost. However, she soon discovers that the dating world is not as simple as it appears. Realizing that she cannot do this alone, she is forced to seek help from the most unlikely of sources.

Twilight Sparkle is one of the most powerful Unicorns in Equestrian history. But how would the events of the show change if Twilight, the Element of Magic, was never a Unicorn? Takes place in my New Lunar Millennium alternate universe, obviously. No prior knowledge is required to read, especially as this is intended to be an introduction/explanation for the setting.

A lot of this is stuff I've already written to go alongside drawings and such, but the bulk of it (at time of publishing) is original material. Much of the history parts are available without commentary here.

Chapters are generally presented in chronological order, but certain events from different parts of the world occur simultaneously so some overlap and inconsistent chronology is to be expected. OC and artwork attributions included in author's notes where appropriate.

The world is aflame and broken. In the Crystal Empire, Rarity tries to ensure her part of the world is less broken than the world outside it, starting with finally taking proper care of the little filly that's supposed to rule it one day. But between the Empress Nightmare Moon's plans for Equus, the damage of Sombra's short but brutal second reign, the danger of the Changeling Hegemony on the western border, and her own personal problems, it's going to be a lot of things, but not easy.
