It is the year 2552 and the Pillar Of Autumn has just entered Slip space to escape the Covenant fleet at Reach. A malfunction occurs with the Slip space drive and sends the Autumn and her crew into unknown space. The first planet that comes into range is very Earth like, and is giving off intelligent life signatures. What they don't know is that their only way back home is on this planet. The Autumn dispatches a scout party and what they report back is unbelievable. A world completely inhabited by ponies, millions of them..... Welcome to Halo: Equestria.

Using a long-forbidden spell, she transforms her sister into little more than a small filly, all so she could pull the greatest prank ever. Unfortunately, she soon learns that before you fool around with dangerous magic, you really need to read the fine print...

Rainbow Dash returns to the castle to find it shrouded in darkness and everpony turned to stone. Not long after she hears of a prophecy involving her and 5 other heroes that must battle the lord of the underworld. Leaving on a quest she meets Twilight Sparkle and a cast of both amazing and funny characters. Complete with cowardly pegasi, backstabbing gryphons, cute little dragons, and a growing relationship between two certain ponies.

Inspired by many of the Dragon Quest titles and My Little Pony: Friendship is Magic.

Its only crew members are: Dash Whizzter, the last remaining pony; Twilight Glimmer, a hologram of her bunkmate; and a creature that evolved from the ship's dragon. I am PINKY, the ship's computer - I have an IQ of 6,000. That's the same IQ as 6,000 PE teachers. Or the same as 12,000 traffic wardens.

Author's note: Hello all! This is a "Red Dwarf" crossover that I've been meaning to do for a little while. If you haven't watched the original sitcom then you really should do - it's demonstrably one of the finer examples of comedy to come out of the UK. I apologize if anyone who has seen the original gets mad at me for doing this - this is more of an experiment than anything else.

Rated Teen for an eensy-weensy bit of death. Otherwise this is pretty kid-friendly. :P
