Changelings are viewed as evil monsters hellbent on stealing love and feeding off of it. But how much of this is actually true?
Chrysalis is now a queen of a nearly extinct race as punishment for mistakes she made many months ago that led up to the invasion on Canterlot. This same mistake was influenced by her own weakness, one she must feed on.
Trying to keep this weakness under her mask, Chrysalis travels to the nearby town of Ponyville where she hunts for love for her to sustain herself long enough to find a suitable pony to help her rebirth her race. What she doesn't expect, is to find the Element of Magic welcoming her in, albeit under disguise. But what comes out of this small bud of possible friendship and simple need to feed?

When Trixie is hospitalized with amnesia, there are only six mares and a dragon who are up to the task of bringing Trixie back. Too bad the mare is absolutely terrified of a certain princess. A long road of recovery is in store for Trixie, will she make it? Probably, it's a fanfiction about best pony after all. But that doesn't mean it will be easy.

(As of chapter 7, I have changed it from the sad tag, for it is i into much more cheerful waters.)

Once there, he/she finds that they now have the powers and abilities of the character they were cosplaying as, and proceed to go on a violent rampage and attempt to conquer the land. When Twilight Sparkle slipped beneath the covers last night, everything had been fine. She had friends whom she loved, a teacher she adored, and a bright future ahead of her. But when she woke up, her blankets and quilts had been replaced by hospital gowns and padded restraints.

Everything is wrong and nothing makes sense; even her friends have changed. The doctors keep telling her that she is sick, that none of it was real and that it was all in her head. Yet she remembers a life far beyond the hospital walls. She couldn't have made it all up on her own. They must be lying… right?
