It's going to be Scootaloo's nineteenth birthday soon. Everypony who knows and loves her is going, but Twilight learns that Scootaloo wants to invite a pony neither of them had seen in a long time: Lightning Dust.

Despite what happened years go, Scootaloo wants to help her as she explains how she met Lighting Dust and the condition the crusader found her in.

It was a typical day in Ponyville. By typical, that means a giant monster or villain would attack the town. Twilight and her friends don't hesitate to take down one monster. In this case, a Bug Bear.

In the episode: "Slice of Life", we got to see what the background characters were doing before going to Cranky and Matilda's wedding. Read along as we will see what were the Main Six were doing while fighting the Bug Bear.

After years of back and forward between Twilight Sparkle and her brother Shining Armor, the final round of the Sibling Supreme Competiton has ended, and the true winner has been decided.

And in the end, that honor went to neither of them. Rather, it went to none other than Spike, the young dragon finally gaining recognition as the little brother Shining and Twilight have always had.

A few hours later, Twilight and Spike take the time to ponder how the day's events have changed their perception of the past, and how this new revelation will affect their future.

A mask that when ripped off, causes Twilight, her friends and Luna to question everything they ever knew about the one pony, one very important pony.

At the Royal Wedding, the meaning of the phrase 'Princess Celestia' changes forever.

For one so young to be alone such as her would be to throw a child over a cliff. Darkness would surely take her and in the end starvation end her. She was alone in the world, nobody to care for her anymore, and just weeks after a tragedy that led her to this state. She was lost in the world, awaiting a fate she had no concept of.

She was wild when she found her, a little girl in rags, afraid of contact with strangers, with people who had showed her mistreatment since she had come to be homeless and in poverty. Still she took her in, and cared for her. They formed a bond that could be unbroken. A home provided, a person to count on, talk to, and care for her. Somebody to love her for who she is.

This is NOT supposed to be a rewrite or copy of Past Sins, some events in the first few chapters may be similar, or have some elements that mirror some of the events. Later chapters will be very different. Please be open minded.

It had been so many years since Lightning Dust was kicked out of the Wonderbolt Academy. She never thought much about those days, nor of Rainbow Dash. Upon meeting again after so many years, Rainbow wants to know what Lighting Dust has been up to.

And so she tells her. She tells her about the parents that washed their hooves of her. About the stallion who became a real father. About the dream she was able to fulfill. And the family she came to love.

This is her story from nothing to something.

Spike's feelings for Rarity are obvious to everypony who knows him. However, Rarity herself does not seem to understand. Spike will finally know her reasons.
