Well it's not actually a sequel. Here is a collection of short stories and histories detailing the life of Alternia, a changeling queen impersonating the life of Princess Celestia. These are the stories of the ruler under her mask.
Reading the main story: Princess Celestia: The Changeling Queen is a requirement if you don't want to be spoiled or confused. I will try to provide background information when I can.
For readers of the main story, there are basically no spoilers if you've read past chapter 8. Enjoy!

Man, Witch Queen of Angmar? Such costume would really suit Alternia but never in 2.5 million years could I imagine Celestia wearing something like that. All in all excellent chapter.
This seems like something you should start AFTER you finish your main story, since this will just take time away from it, leaving people who would want the main story to just continue already waiting longer and longer.

I like these side short stories. They're fun and it's nice to see your beautiful characterization in slightly less serious toned material. Alternia is still my favorite version of Celestia I've read in a while.

Slices of life about raising Blueblood and Cadance, about Twilight, about bonding time with Luna, about the points that brought about her realization that she had come to care for her ponies for their own sakes and not merely as a duty forced upon her... there are certainly a wealth of options still available.

Fun little story, Luna really shouldn't be all that upset once "Celestia" tell her she just wanted to have some fun herself. I think Luna was only miffed because she wasn't invited along and was instead sent off to Ponyville.
