This story is a sequel to In Charge of the Field Trip Charter

Well, it’s finally happened.

Despite the initial optimistic outlook, the future is bleak. Any hires I’ve had scheduled are now indefinitely postponed or cancelled outright. I can’t say I’m disappointed, but sometimes, things happen.

I think it’s time for a little change of pace. A little change of scenery. A little… change of species.

This story is a sequel to Friends For Life

One of my first clients when I began operations is coming through in the clutch again. The organization who has chartered me many times in years past (after briefly leaving) has decided to hire me again. The organization is a school. In no way rivals to Crystal Prep, the school is private and K-12, offering a select few classes with long-distance field trips. In fact, this is the same school I attended for all 13 years of my primary and secondary education.

Two different programs have chartered me, but in addition to cost concerns, one of the teachers (who led one of the first charters I flew for this school) left to pursue his doctorate, so even though he’s moved on, I’m glad the school has come back to me, and with new classes to charter as well. Going from two charters a year to four, and then to one, and now there are three after a long absence. Hopefully I can get back into some sort of rhythm now that I have a regular client on a semi-fixed schedule.

“The road to recovery is a long and winding one. The first step is always the hardest.”

After all I’ve put the girls through, I want to show them my gratitude and appreciation for sticking with me through this difficult time in my life. I know I haven’t been the greatest friend, but their friendship is more than I could ask for.

As my streak of no work extends, I guess I could start my visits now. I’ve been able to stay in touch so I’m not visiting during a bad time, though we are at a time in the year right before peak travel, so hopefully I can make my rounds before I get a hire call.

Mario tag for some telephone conversations. No physical appearances are made.

A/N: Though it is a continuation of the storyline, it is not really a sequel (per se) to my previous works. Consider it a fresh start.

This story is a sequel to The Other Side

I‘ve stepped out of the [valley of] shadows [of death], and into the light. It’s bright at first, but my friends have seen all the colors I am, and all the ones I want to be, and help me wear them bright like a shining star.

I once was black and white, and felt the need to hide them for fear of driving them away. But while I did test test them to see if where their limits are with me, they still let me shine up bright; and you know what? It just feels right.

This story is a sequel to Night at the Spring Dance Hall

After many months of paperwork, divvying up property, and finding an available court date - the third of which taking more than half of the timeframe, the inevitable has arrived. For the third time, I am appearing before a judge to terminate a marriage certificate. One would think that I’d get used to it since this is my third, but alas. It doesn’t get any easier.

Worse still, my family are now discovering the story of my accident. While it occurred a long time ago, it’s clear that despite their denial of my existence, they can no longer keep that up. As a result, I now have to resort to some pretty extreme tactics to avoid being seen by them. While I don’t doubt that at least some of them are willing to talk to me, I can’t take any chances. As far as I’m concerned, I have a bounty on my head.

This story is a sequel to A Chicagoan in Phoenix

Canterlot City is an “exclave” within the Sacramento metro. Within its town proper is Crystal Prep Academy. Cadance successfully applied for the position of Principal at Crystal Prep after what could only be described as a tumultuous state of affairs in their administrative world. Their arch-rival, Canterlot High School, is similarly an “exclave” within Rancho Cordova, one of Sacramento’s suburbs. Sol and Selena used to work at Canterlot High before they moved to the nation’s capital.

Because of the nature of her work, Cadance now has to split time between Sacramento and Anchorage. CPA was kind enough to assist with finding living accommodations, since I do not have any real estate in that region (unless she wanted to commute from San Francisco, which was not really an option due to the 100-mile distance one way, plus the obvious schedule strain of being an administrator.)

In her first year as Principal, her ambitious student association approached her with the prospect of their Spring Dance, which after last year’s success, feels needed to be outdone. Their idea involves Hawaii, a dream vacation destination for many and certainly a way to outdo a simple evening on a yacht.

Mario tag as Rosalina appears. No other characters appear.

Rated T for abrasiveness.

EDIT: Sex tag added for mildly explicit reference to genitalia used in a historical context in the final chapter.

A/N: Reviewing the map of Canterlot City, coupled to the general acceptance of Canterlot being a California city, Sacramento best fits the geophysical description and is most analogous to the rendering.

Also A/N: Cover image cropped to emphasize freeway signage.

This story is a sequel to Royals. Problem?

Sunset Shimmer is one of the first of Rarity’s friends I met, but in the time we’ve known each other, we’ve never hung out. With an upcoming long weekend, this is a good opportunity to take advantage.

I’ve always had fun talking with Sunset, but for a slew of reasons, we’ve never been able to really have a full conversation, or even finish most of the ones we‘ve had. I do know that she’s either a psychologist or psychiatrist (see? If we could hang out more, I’d know) and that she lives in Phoenix. Maybe this weekend we can become closer.

This story is a sequel to We Present To You A New Quest

Princess Twilight, in light of her ascension to the throne, and as a preparatory exercise for taking over the School of Friendship, sends Starlight Glimmer to my world, a difficult decision for the Princess, but one done in the name of knowing more about my world (since the friendship map now includes portions of it). Having already purchased a holiday home in Burlington, VT, Starlight should have no trouble moving, though she is understandably nervous about a long-term residency.

Her hire request is for the two now former diarchs of Equestria, eager to try another sisterhood journey after their previous attempt in their own world did not go as planned.

From what I’ve been told, the two sisters on both sides as it were are very close, but in terms of interests, it’s night and day you could not find any more divergence. Having been the mediator and third/neutral party for most of my life, I would be remiss not to act the part now.

Starlight Glimmer also appears.

Mario tag as Rosalina makes an appearance. No other characters appear.

This story is a sequel to Life Is A Runway

The time has come for Princess Annabelle and Bowser, Jr. to get married. Even though my only connection to her is being married to her adoptive mother, and we’ve only just met within the past year, her inclusion of me is quite a shocking one.

Thanks to a well-coordinated “chance” meeting at Rarity’s brand new boutique, Pinkie Pie and I have secured ourselves as well as all of our friends seats at the intimate ceremony. Being able to provide insight and assist with much of the wedding prep has definitely relieved many of the Toads that have been working tirelessly to get it right. It’s not easy for them, and Pinkie taking over most of the private ceremony is a huge relief.

With the eve of the wedding approaching faster than the royal planning committees can keep up with even with Pinkie’s help, I am now in the process of picking everyone up and taking them to the Mushroom World.

Rated T for abrasiveness.

Annabelle and Benito are OC’s of PrincessNellas.

Peter, Marc, Laura, King Richard, Queen Lillian, Marco, and Louise are all OC’s of Nintendrawer.

Inspired by Walkazo’s map of the Mushroom World. I have helped with a real-world overlay here.

I recommend reading Mama Rosalina and Guardian of Memories to understand how Jr. and Annabelle got together, and how Rosalina raised Annabelle. I also suggest the Game Theory: Rosalina Unmasked Part 1 and Part 2 as well as the final cutscene from the game to help understand the lore of Super Mario Galaxy.

This story came about after I got impatient with a sequel to Guardian of Memories.

This story is a sequel to So Much More To Me

After many months of searching, planning, and vision-boarding, Rarity has accomplished one of her lifelong ambitions: she has her own boutique in Manhattan! A few weeks prior, she had a soft opening with conducting sales and figuring out how to organize the store. Due to personal reasons, I had to decline that invitation, but promised to make it up to her by showing her around Europe. Thanks to her wonderful expertise at her craft, along with a very dedicated and capable staff, Rarity can afford to treat herself to a holiday in Europe within such a short timespan.

This is more than just a holiday to Rarity however. With the end of summer fast approaching, it’s an opportunity for Rarity to get inspired so she can stay ahead of the curve. Plus, at my recommendation, late summer to right around mid-autumn is the best time to visit Western Europe. And, naturally, Rarity is taking advantage of free airfare.

Mario tag as Rosalina makes an appearance.

Starlight Glimmer also appears.
