Herbert 'Daring" Dashwood at that point in the game is an old man that has retired from the adventuring business. The final blow that saw an end to that was the loss of his ghoul manservant... its kind of a quest of sorts to go to where he last saw him. He makes his caps selling records of his exploits, which you can listen to on the radio if you keep it on long enough.

Maxson... try to pay attention..... a bit of a stretch to ask though, kid already had an attitude and a complex about him even at a young age.

I feel like you need to start making a character cheat sheet for every chapter now because of all the alternate people you use it's getting harder and harder to tell apart which are supposed to be canon characters and who the new characters are. Like with the last scene in this I have no idea who any of them are supposed to be (it's been a long time since I played fallout 3 so the lesser known characters are harder to remember after all)
