Nice!
Yeah, this is more or less how my runthrough went. Well actually the first time around I accidentally stole something when people were looking and eveything went to hell, but basically this the second time around.
Speaking of Fallout though, I played Fallout Shelter for the first time on the Switch. Game is pretty damn fun for what it is.

I don't think I've ever had a full playthrough on any fallout game where I haven't had everything randomly go to hell in a handbasket during a mission, keeps things fresh I suppose

I know what you mean. One of the most memorable moments for me when it came to random WTF moments was when I was in Rivet City and I had my character standing in some random spot. I left the game to go do something for a bit and when I came back, everyone was shooting my ass.
I guess I stood in the wrong place?

The marketplace by any chance? Pretty sure it's off limits after a certain time in the evening. Rivet city is a pain in the ass whatever part of it you're in though to be honest

I know right? What could possibly go wrong......
8997476
Yeah it was the marketplace and yeah no kidding.
8997484
It can be a good place for stress relief though, there's something oddly satisfying about standing at the top of the stairs in the marketplace and letting rip with the experimental mirv

Last week, I also started playing Fallout Shelter for the first time. Let's just say it's my new addiction. If only I could get my dwellers to train faster.

I played through Fallout 3 once, and it was my first time ever playing Fallout, so i just rushed through the main story, and that was pretty much it. So now there's so much about the game that I know nothing about. But i do plan on playing through it properly sometime soon.
Also, I've been running scenarios and possible plot points through my head, and you know what I'm thinking? I think I want to start writing my own Fallout-MLP crossover, like you're doing. Except, I want to write a fic about the main 7 in Fallout 4, arriving in the commonwealth. It's only fitting. Unlike with Fallout 3, I have put more than 1000 hours into Fallout 4

Good on ya. I myself entertained the though of a FoE fic inspired by Fallout Shelter actually. It'd basically be an odd sort of slice of life/adventure fic where the dwellers are ponies and they try to live their lives in a Stable, going through the hardships of maintaining their Stable, dealing with random raider attacks, going out into the wastes, all that good stuff, just... y'know... with ponies... in the FoE universe.
I think it has a lot of potential.

The Fallout Shelter story? If you write it, I will definitely read the shit out of it. I especially would like to see dweller ponies get sent out into the wastes

Yeah Rivet City Market gets closed down for the night to the public.
If you're unlucky it can happen in the daytime if the game glitches
Bethesda programming don't you love it
i only have one question how long is a fort night?
8999714
14 days, or 2 weeks.
Aha! Nice on them negotiating peacefully.... But.... Honestly.... I lost my shit because I got "Stephenie Meyer" flashback and went on a murderous rampage fulled by the worst book I had to review. But now that I am playing the game again I think that I should try the peaceful approach.

huh thanks for that

My bad, forgot that it's a British thing. I'm trying to stick to American English for the story so if I do put anything like that in there please let me know! Thanks!
9000498
wait its no problem i just didnt know what a fort night was you dont need to change anything.
I’ve never had a high enough speech skill for this.
9000498
Fortnight is an American used word as well. It's just rarely used. Most don't bother paying attention in English classes and every god and devil our species has ever followed knows that most don't even speak properly with what they DO know. Pretty much completely slang nowadays. Honestly it's a modern rendition of Jive.
Well now the Blood Ties quest is winding down. The Family always did strike me as one of the weirdest groups in the wastes. I couldn't tell if they were actually vampire/cannibals or just a gang of wannabes tacking advantage of the image Vance had cultivated.
Still my reaction to finding Ian was always the same: "You are areal bh to find you know that?"
Is organised a British spelling or typo ?

If we're talking weirdest, it's gotta be the republic of Dave. Those people always weird me out.
They're pretty out of the way too, over on the upper right hand corner of the map.
That scene between sunset and Ian was sweet.
8997908
Did you ever write it?
9886193
As a responsible person who's payed attention in even classes I don't like,I have never once heard of or seen the word fortnight used.
Geez Applejack, there's being honest, and then there's volunteering information.
Element of honesty babyyyyyy
Hey man, nerds gonna nerd. Twi will science the shit out of the Wasteland!
Daww that was sweet of Sunset to cheer up Ian. Though... I absolutely don't remember how this quest line ended. Wasn't it bad for Ian to not stay with the Family?
Anyway, another great chapter! Hopefully Fluttershy isn't broken, though honestly it'd be an interesting subplot to explore. I'm sure the Wasteland will change the girls somewhat, but how will morale hold up when Fluttershy, the sweetest and gentlest of them all, is somehow changed by this terrible place?
I'm really enjoying this story so far! I've been withholding my thumbs up for a while (nearly 200 chapters and I figured there may be a thing or two I might really dislike) but this far in you deserve the support. I used to write alot of adventure myself (these days I do mostly slice of life romance with some drama sprinkled in) and this makes me miss that quite a bit. Thanks for writing this! It's just so nice to have a good action fic to read again.
