This was an adorable and insightful story. It certainly captures the feelings one goes through with how they'd likely react if anyone ever were to find out about their AB / Dl side.
What makes your story particularly good is how the focus was on "Understanding' and "Acceptance". Sometimes these sort of tales can become too much about being an AB / DL. This one was great in creating a positive exchange between twilight and Starlight. It also left a lot of room for a reader to think on how Starlight became an Adult Foal and whether-or-not Shining Armor may be one, too.
Great use of emotion. This is certainly a read worth recommending to anyone who is struggling with their feelings about being an AB / DL.
I kinda wanna see a continuation of this! it was very interesting.

Not bad. I would have liked to see this continue as a multi-chapter story, though. Starlight asking for Twilight to become her mommy would have been a good way to keep it going.

I wasn't expecting Starlight to be the subject of a story like this, but now that she is, I want a sequel where Twilight is her mommy, and maybe Spoke knows where to get mare- sized diapers because he's into this sort of thing too. That would be cute, reading about him and Satrlight playing together while Twilight babies them. They certainly seem to get along well.
I don't have the heart to tell him what the fic is about.

This sort of story does well in showing how those who are adult foals are not bad, misguided, or any other derogatory term they can be given. They are merely individuals who are trying to get back of a little of what they feel they lost or need back to help cope with life.
I could see Starlight being an adult foal. Her childhood was crushed once Sunburst went away. Childhood traumas tend to create the spark for an adult foal. The mind feels robbed of a very important time in your life and drives you to get it back to find peace.

I really enjoyed reading this story. It was very heartwarming, and did it's job well as a relatively short ABDL fic. It also hit me with emotion when Starlight broke down. Her situation felt relatable. Nice work.

Really cool story. First of all, the language and grammer were good, and that's very important. The excerpts from Spike's book were also a nice touch. Lots of conversation in this story, as I expected. But it was well-written and realistic, short but detailed. Also this:
now that I think about it, maybe I should have just made everypony there wear diapers. I'm sure I could have convinced them to."
made me laugh very loud.
An interesting choice to leave the question whether Shining Armor is an AF as well a bit of a mystery. And the ending was just so sweet. I particularly enjoyed the last sentence. Last sentences are always so vital to the reading experience, aren't they?
