This is funny
5062324 I hadn't thought of it like that when I had first started to make this story, and in the first chapter, I did try to make it where the other pilot flew into his jet; hence the explosion from the two jets.
*I had read before that sometimes jets would need to dump there fuel before landing on aircraft reasons for some reason, and I thought if he did that, then the pilot behind him would've been blinded from jet fuel getting not only on his plane but also the canopy.
Does he ever find a way to fly again, plus he's a pilot doesn't he have a sidearm incase his plane it shot down?

well, they lack the technology to rebuild him a plane. Think about it, electronics, fuel, materials. And as for a sidearm, remember, he had to eject in the middle of a dogfight, and even then he didn't go down with his chair. So all equipment he came with is destroyed.
His lack of weapons is actually going to come up in the next two chapters.

I love reading stories where you can see the author grow along with the story. You have been working on this story for quite a while and even in this chapter I can see the improvements in your writing compared to the first chapter, and yes military food is better than people usually make it out to be. I remember trying my first MRE back in 2016 when I was in AFJROTC doing a summer leadership course where we where locked into a college campus for a week with no contact to the out side world and the college ROTC guys and gals had us doing Drill, PT, Obstacle courses, Room and Uniform Unspections, as well as educational group briefings and Air Force history tests at random moments. Up at 0500 for PT and continued non stop until lights out at 2100, never a dull moment. I miss the good ol ROTC Days.
