I like it. Keep it up.
"“What do the Onorussian’s have to fear from us? They have numbers, technology, resources…” The Princess asked with genuine curiosity, the chaos god simply reached out and tapped her horn. “They have unicorns and changelings.”
“But not Alicorns. At least, not Alicorns with as much power as you or Celestia.” Discord said simply, Cadence seemed a bit surprised by that. Discord supposed the best way to explain would be to physically show Cadence, and so he snapped his fingers. A sort of screen appeared in front of the two of them, depicting an ancient looking city moments before a blinding white flash filled the screen. The flash faded away and Cadence could see that the entire city had been basically obliterated, the distant silhouette of Celestia was floating in the sky. “You see why they’re afraid of you now?”
And the humans CAN'T do that? Didn't you establish in your stories that humans are IMMUNE to magic? Or at least Earth material is? And not only that, we now know they're gonna be immortal if they stay on Equestria. You're contradicting yourself. The Equestrians and Celestia has more to fear from HUMANS than the humans do from them. Alicorns don't mean anything when you're immune to magic and you got NUKES. Or a well-placed sniper bullet.
Wow arming the Caribou, good choice! I hope that rather than breaking themselves on Dominic's military they invade the Crystal Empire instead.
7442938 if you read carefully they are resistant but sunbutt can still do a lot of damage cause of how powerful she is
7443048
But so can they. Their sheer numbers or catching her by surprise would easily outmaneuver or the like. She really DOES have more to fear from them than they do from her.
So you're saying Luna isn't even as powerful as Cadence?
I always thought that Luna and Celestia were pretty even in terms of raw power, and while Twilight may be younger than Cadence, she's got waaay more raw potential as well as experience from all the crap she's had to deal with in Ponyville.
7443052 oh of course i was just mostly letting you know magic dose affect them
7443052
Couple things real quick, just trying to clear a few things up. The magic isn't what would be doing the damage to the humans, the heat and shock wave from what essentially is a Nuclear Bomb is what does the damage. What's more is that Celestia doesn't always have to be present to use said spell, she could be far away and strike without any prior warning if she wanted to. Secondly, I noticed in your earlier comment that you said the humans are immortal, they really aren't. They'll live for a long time, but if you were to shoot, stab or poison them it would kill them as if they were just normal people. Sort of like Cruise Control in a car maintains speed.

Twilight perhaps could perform a Thermo-Acrane spell if she really practiced, but she wouldn't really be willing to perform it, as she's all about 'purity of magic' and not using it to hurt people. She mainly uses it to cast shield spells (I.E. The Changeling-American War), and that's kind of what Luna does to. One on one Luna and Celestia could be evenly matched, but Luna is also more of a defensive specialist, so performing a Thermo-Arcane spell would be difficult for her. After all, to do so she would need to literally set off a magical reaction without any fissionable arcane material.
so has any brony survived the imfection and the EOL rise? could any fan be looking for their favorite pony?
7443712
I can understand that to an extent, but pretty much all the focus has been on "oh she can do so much to hurt us, so we should be careful of her" with no almost no focus on just how dangerous the HUMANS are. I mean they just steamrolled her forces in a matter of weeks. She doesn't come across as the real threat here.
7443792
Mainly because of her unpredictability, but she's going to be less of the focus from now on anyway.
7443979
Ah, well that's good...I hope.
I still say we put Celestia on trial the next time she does something even remotely stupid.
All these questions and nitpicking in the comments is like when you get a particularly stubborn grease stain that never seems to come off and you try everything just short of steel wool on your very expensive piece of fine china.
Also, good chapter!
7446296 I think it is more like that one pizza sauce stain in your dark jeans. Bleach ruins it, detergent isn't strong enough, and fire is indiscriminate in what it cleans. i3.kym-cdn.com/photos/images/facebook/000/427/661/737.jpg
7443739 Of course they did. It's already been established that Dominic, Maria and Melissa were all fans of the show, and there were plenty of them in the... EOL...
That... might not be the best example.
I really don't like QuibbleDash. It's just... too easy.
*headdesk*
NO! Of all the cliches that have cropped up in the fimfiction fandom, that has got to be among the ones I hate the most. Whoever came up with the original idea for the Caribou in fimfiction needs to be taken outside and flogged to death with an old army boot.
I forgot to comment this in the previous chapter, but is Mason a known character or just somebody we're introduced in that single chapter until being killed off?
I just don't know. The incident with the spy plane was a shot out of the blue. Even Celestia was surprised at the reaction of the pilot. It was an incident that just felt "ssooo off", because Celestia was the one to bring down the plane...at the behest of Shining Armor. Did she think she was "HELPING", or was she out for "REVENGE", out of frustration and anger ? She just KEEPS DOING OOC THINGS.
