Twilight Cloud and her younger sister Moonbeam Sparkle, live an average life in the capitol city of Ponyville. Both mares are united in the fact that they both lack their cutie mark, even at the age of 20. Neither of them are really that concerned with their destiny, but destiny, on the otherhoof, is extremely concerned with them, and the coming months are going to prove far more pivotal then anypony could've imagined.

Rarity's in charge of Hearth's Warming Eve this year. At least the costumes anyway. But such a huge project is too demanding for just one pony! So her friend, Coco Pommel is tasked to be her second set of hooves. Rarity can't wait to see Sweetie Belle in her own costume and the filly can't wait to sing. Story is told from Rarity's perspective only.

Scootaloo is heading out to Cloudsdale with Rainbow Dash for awhile. But before boarding the hot air balloon, she has two important people to say goodbye to.

On Hearth's Warming Eve, Canterlot is the place to be. Lots of ponies flood the city, either to look for that perfect gift, or spend time with family. Some of the background ponies are there, and all of them have their own reasons. Vinyl is searching for a special gift for a certain cellist, Lyra is going to try her hoof at cooking while a candy maker is out, Minuette is praying that no pony finds out what she bought for a wine enthusiast, and Symphony is simply pulling her mane trying to find a gift that sends the right message.

Discord's plan while Fluttershy was away with the Breezies did not turn out as he planned. Not only did he not get to have the satisfaction of ruining Twilight and Cadence's day, he's now sick as a dog and bedridden. But at least Fluttershy is there to care for him.

However, while Discord didn't know of a certain giant worm's presence, he also neglected to consider one crucial flaw in his plan: how Fluttershy would react to it.

This fic stemmed from me being kinda unhappy with Fluttershy's role in "Three's A Crowd". Not the 'she's busy with the Breezies,' I felt that was a decent way to keep her from upsetting the plot, since it sets up a future event, and Discord came in BECAUSE she left. I more am unhappy we didn't see her react more to what Discord did behind her back, thus this fic is kinda what I imagine happened once she and Discord were alone.

I imagine that Fluttershy has Discord pegged, as she had him pegged BEFORE getting to know him better. That's my perception anyway.
