Equestria and Yakyakistan are friends for a thousand moons thanks to the ingenious efforts of Pinkie Pie. However, Twilight still feels guilty about letting everything get out of control like she did. During the party, she approaches Princess Celestia and Prince Rutherford to issue her heartfelt apology in private. But as she soon discovers, she's not the only one who needs to brush up on her diplomacy.

Shadow Bright, a mare born into a cult bent on realizing the ultimate embodiment of Nightmare. When this cult was taken down by Celestia, the foal Shadow was brought in to watch over. Ever fearful of what may happen, a close eye was kept on her, and an even closer one on her abilities. A foalish mistake from a rebelious teenager forever connects this mare to the Nightmare, darkness incarnate.
When she wakes up in a random ponies house, with no memory of how she got there or even where she was, it would seem that her destiny has caught up with her. Floating in the sky is the thing of her nightmares, something that means her attempts to separate herself from her destiny have failed. For when the sun and moon join in the sky, it forms the most powerful thing of darkness in Equestria.

A great disaster strikes the Crystal Empire shortly after finding an amazing archaeological find in the crystal mines. News reaches Princess Twilight Sparkle in a short amount of time, a letter from her brother speaking of a beast as black as shadows that tore apart the royal guard in a matter of seconds, but stopped his rampage only moments later, unfortunately most of the empire had been burnt and ravaged as the beast fled. Just a day after receiving the letter Twilight and her friends prepare to head to the empire, when an odd dragon wanders into Ponyville, he is odd because unlike any dragon she had even seen, he adorned a unicorn like horn on his head, his midnight black scales seemed to shine in the day. One major question was going through the princesses mind, where did he come from and what are his intentions.

Two inventors, Jigsaw and Short Circuit, have been looking for a place to start their new business inventing new products for the pony public. For them, Ponyville seems like the best option. Although, they may have more problems than they let on...

A short story that continues the adventures of Twilight and Rick in my universe with a few twists on the Equestria Girls movie. I won't go so far as to say reading this, this and this is necessary but if you haven't read them you may likely be very lost.

Rarity always had feelings for Twilight, but never had the opportunity or courage to do anything about them. When Twilight falls ill, and Rarity is the one to care for her, the two draw closer, and their relationship shifts from friendly to romantic.
