The UNSC was desperate to find a planet to settle on where they can effectively hide from the covenant and recover from the near fatal blow they suffered on Reach. When the Hall of Heroes, a ship similar to the Pillar of Autumn only smaller, finds an unexplored planet away from the covenant empire, they
immediately launch a recon mission to confirm if the planet is habitable, Mikel Dakre and his ODST team find more than they bargained for.

After receiving an urgent letter from Princess Celestia concerning a grave danger to Equestria, Twilight Sparkle undergoes a crisis of faith. Can she perform a grim task for her beloved mentor, even if it means sacrificing all that she cares about?

Twilight Sparkle has always admired Princess Celestia. Her fortitude, her wisdom, her eternal grace and love for all her subjects. Twilight has often fantasized about what it would be like to be in Princess Celestia's horseshoes. She never imagined those fantasies would come true.

It had been one year since Twilight Sparkle vanished in the battle against the evil unicorn Xander, and her friends were still trying to overcome the grief of losing her. On the anniversary of her presumed death, her friends gather at her memorial. What was suppose to be a day of remembrance was shattered by a strange metal object that landed right beside them. Their anger quickly turns to shock as a familiar unicorn emerges... and boy does she have a story to tell.

This is not a Halo fic. It IS however loosely inspired by Halo as well as Star Wars, Mass Effect and several other sci-fi movies, books, and games.

The Cheddar, Bacon, and Onion sandwich from Mcdonalds goes to Ponyville to save the day from Celestia. His delicious combination of Cheddar, Bacon, and Onion will overrun the forces of Equestria and topple the Egalitarian society. Mares will love his hot buns and his deliciously hilarious cheesy one-liners. Don't even get me started on his bacon which everypony will turn into omnivores just to be with him. A new order of deliciousness will be administered to all of ponydom!

There really is no excuse for forgetting something as important as a hoof-written law. But Celestia forgot. And now, a thousand years after she wrote it, a law comes into play mandating that Celestia take a two-month sabbatical from her duties as Princess of Equestria.

So what happens when she has to step down for a couple months and leave Luna by herself in the bloody gladiator ring that is Equestrian politics? What happens when Celestia has to disguise herself and mingle with the populace of Ponyville without them knowing?

The short answer to that would be "a string of hilarious chance encounters, sisterly banter, romantic mishaps, and a political coup that was decades in the making."
