Upon eavesdropping on a conversation between Rarity and Twilight Sparkle, Spike discovers what his "true love" really thinks of him, and after reminiscing on his thoughts about it, he slowly begins to drift away from his friends. With sorrow and despair in his heart, Spike runs away from home, and runs into an old enemy that tries to help him out.

However, after realizing what she has done, Rarity begins to realize and discover that she has feelings for Spike after all, but can she save him before it's too late?

Derpy isn't your typical pony and as such, doesn't have a typical life. No matter where she turns, hilarity ensures and on this day, it's certainly no different, except everypony is acting rather strange around her.

There exists an hour each day that goes inexperienced by everypony. An hour where both the Sun, and Moon are silent; Where dangerous living shadows thrive. With no one to go to for fear of sounding crazy Twilight must unravel the secrets of the Midnight Hour, without putting her friends in harms way. But when seemingly healthy ponies start to fall prey to a mysterious illness which renders them completely unable to function like a normal pony with an invariable link to this strange new world. It's Twilight, and her friend who takes it upon themselves to save them.

When English teacher Connie Hayden is told by a mysterious new friend that there is a way to travel from the human world to Equestria, she doesn't believe her. But what if the legend of Pinkamena is true?
