For Scootaloo it means a day off from crusading, loneliness, and the coldest night of the year. When Discord begins to whisper to her from his stone prison, she questions the beliefs held by many. What was so great about Harmony? What could be so bad about a world where chocolate milk fell from the sky?

Almost everypony in Ponyville knows about Scootaloo. She lives with her Aunt Ditzy and her Cousin Dinky and is one third of the trio of terrors that are the Cutie Mark Crusaders. However, almost nopony knows who Scootaloo's mom is. When her mother finally comes home to Ponyville, Scootaloo doesn't want anypony to find out and her friends are determined to learn why. They discover something they never suspected...

When the Mane Six return to Ponyville they find it being attached by a group of three monster-mares, or are these new creatures something more.

Transformed by Discord the trio know as the Cutie Mark Crusaders were turned into three monster mares, now using their new found powers to help ponies as Equestria's strangest heroes. By their own the're Appleling, Sweetie Bot and Energyloo but together they are... The Doom Patrol.

Disclaimer: as you can see, there is already two other fics about the Doom Patrol in this page, both based on Grant Morrison's AWESOME run on the series. But I decided to make a different idea, using as a guide the Blessed whit suck/Cursed with awesome principle.

Who is Scootaloo? Everypony knows about her present, but when it comes to her past there are as many different answers as there are questions.

Is she the love child of two star-crossed lovers? The last hope for the future? The child of a broken home? A mysterious figure fighting a war no pony knows about? Or is it something else entirely? Is she even a pony at all?

Twilight Sparkle decides to ask everypony in Ponyville and find out about Scootaloo...and the stories, rumors and gossip she gets will leave her wondering how the truth can ever compete with fiction.

It started out as a normal day. The crusaders had a new idea for getting cutie marks, and then Apple Bloom borrowed Applejack's hat for something without asking.

Suddenly... it was no longer a normal day.

The Cutie Mark Crusaders have always thrown caution to the winds when Crusading. However, their latest endeavor has left one of their number in great pain with no obvious cause.
When Apple Bloom has her injury treated, she realizes that things in her life aren't what they seem. And when she learns the truth...
Some things are hard to deal with. But the love of a family can fix a lot of problems.

Scootaloo is not an orphan. She has two wonderful parents who have taken care of her since she was born.

There is nothing unusual about Scootaloo's life. Although tomboyish, she is like any other pegasus (with the exception of her wings).

That is until a visiter in her dream shows her how little she actually knows about herself.
