So I got in a car crash and the hospital put me under for surgery. The next thing I know, I wake up as a small pony with wings. And I can't see. And it's freaking cold up here.

At least I've still got my smokes.

What happens after we die?

A question asked by countless members of every species ever to exist. But a question that has gone unanswered. Unfortunately, a certain alicorn princess doesn't like it when questions go unanswered. So in an effort to answer that greatest of questions, Twilight Sparkle kills herself. She fails to grasp the permanence of such an action.

With the invention of the magical radio, ponies from across Equestria await the first public radio broadcast, which will come from Princess Celestia herself. However, one week before the presentation an unauthorized broadcast powerful enough to reach every corner of Equestria appears. Its host? Discord.

The Doctor winds up on a far off planet inhabited by pony-like creatures. The planet seems peaceful enough, but strange things keep appearing and disappearing, and he decides to take a deeper look into this subject. Things don't go entirely as planned, though, when he comes across someone very familiar.

Once, Ford was just a human who led a boring and lonely life. But suddenly, his life is turned upside down as a mysterious golden light not only transported him to the magical world of Equestria, but has also transformed him into a Pegasus Pony without a Cutie Mark! Despite how much of a fan he is of MLP:FIM, he can't help but feel concern on what kind of consequences his presence might bring on account of his knowledge of a fictional cartoon show.

Now, under the identity of "Ford Mustang", he must face many trials ahead of him. Will he be able to blend in with the rest of the pony community? Will he ever be able to earn his Cutie Mark? Can he make it back home in time before the ponies learn the truth about him? And what happens when he starts to fall in love with a certain cyan Pegasus with the spectrum-colored mane? The guest room in our house that's remained empty is finally filled this year. Apparently, there's a new student coming to my high school for a couple semesters. Something of an exchange student, I guess. I've met dozens of exchange students; quite a few come over from Taiwan and China, and even one from Vietnam. Except this guy's from another world. No, literally. He's from an alternate universe.

Oops, did I say "he?" I meant "she." And her name is Rainbow Dash.

AUTHOR'S NOTE

This is an old idea, but it was basically an answer to TotallyNotABrony's challenge to write a fic about RD or another pony coming to your college and hanging out. I tweaked it for my old high school instead, as small high schools have stranger experiences, especially with the drama (By small, I mean a graduating class of thirty-four kids). Forgot to post it here.

In the year 2050 Negotiations between the U.S and China go bad resulting in a full scale war. Jake Eld is a 17 year old Force Recon Marine who along with his squad fights through enemy after enemy but when then a nuke is dropped which collides with Eld's shield system on his armor sending him to Equestria.
