One would think he would know off the top of his head, but, to be honest, he never really thought about it. What exactly does Twilight mean to him?

There are always things hidden from us, people who have gone before us and places that have been forgotten. Spike thinks that his world is over when he is kidnapped one night, and Twilight is left for dead in a burning tree. However, things are not as they seem - who is this strange person? Why is he being so respectful, considering what he's just done? And what does he want with Spike?

Did the ponies really forgive Discord, or had they just said so?

Of course they did, but Discord has his doubts. How could they forgive him like that, after all of the awful things he did to them? To find answers, Discord seeks out one that he'd rather not seek out: Twilight Sparkle.

Years after Twilight's coronation, Spike's wings have sprouted, and the Princess of Friendship takes time off to fly with him. During this time, Spike grows confused as to what Twilight and Princess Celestia are to him.

Seriously, you can call it affection, or fondness, or weakness, or anything else, but it's still love. It might be keeping you strong, it might be what you think is holding you back, it might very well be the only thing that's keeping you from strangling this knucklehead who won't admit she needs your help, but it's still love.

I plan on tossing up a chapter as they are finished. There's no story arc connecting these; they're more just character studies.
