I don't think you can know Rarity without being at least a little bit scared of her. If you're not, then you don't really know Rarity. This is the story of how she saved Ponyville one day.
Wallflower Blush is crushing hard on the one person she now calls her closest if perhaps only friend. It won’t take much once Sunset begins to feel the way she once did...powerful.
For a long time Sunset has felt a quiet nagging feeling about not deserving everything that's happened to her since her reformation. How will she respond when she finds another feels the same?
Starlight and Trixie get drunk on Hearth's Warming Eve and complain about their problem with towns and the unwillingness they have to be taken over, among other unrelated things.

Sunset Shimmer visits the Castle of Friendship, and inadvertently discovers something that Twilight would normally keep hidden under her bed... except that since this is a pony princess we're talking about, it's nothing remotely resembling normal.
Rarity's beloved drama couch has fallen apart, unable to support her owner's falls any longer. Therefore, Rarity must find a suitable replacement. How hard can it be?
Twilight finds it a bit difficult to reconcile Celestia's playful new manner with the regal teacher she knew for so long. Once she does, however, the benefits are plain to see.
"I've been thinking about Applejack a lot lately. Her awesome hair, that smart aleck grin, those legs that won't quit... ugh! I've had it! I've just gotta tell her how she makes me feel! I just hope she takes me seriously for once..."
Twilight knows they’re lucky. All her human self wants is to understand how magic works. But she’s in love, and as logical as she tries to be, she can’t handle her human self being around Sunset all of the times she can’t be.
After the gala, things return to normal quickly. Yet it seems like there are some things that need to be talked out. At least, Discord feels that he should.
It had been a year since Twilight had heard of anything from Trixie since the Alicorn Amulet incident. Unexpectedly, she receives a letter saying that her so called "rival" has tragically died and is requested to be at her funeral.
