A Student from the Royal academy arrives in Ponyville years before Twilight Sparkle, and tries to do academic work without a bunch of crazy ponies distracting him. But a certain cross-eyed mail mare may just catch his eye. Tells a story from before and after the events of the series, from the point of view of two separate ponies. *Midnight is not an OC*

They started dating and really enjoy one another's company.
Lyra wants Bon-Bon to meet her parents.

Equestria has been at peace after the defeat of Tirek 2 years ago. But now, an old enemy has returned and taken control of one of the Elements of Harmony. With Princess Celestia defeated, her friends missing or possibly dead, and Equestria nearly in ruins, Twilight Sparkle is forced to do something she really doesn't want to do. Fight against her closest friend. Will Twilight be able to defeat this "Soul Eater"? Just what is this mysterious dark armor her enemy wears? And just who is her new enemy and old friend? The Legendary Flames are about to return to their masters.

When Discord returns to Ponyville, the ponies think they already know all of his tricks. But when Twilight Sparkle gets sent to another dimension, where Pegasi dwell on Butterfly Island and Unicorns make rainbows in Unicornia, there seems to be no way to reunite the ponies! The Elements will have to find new hosts, and Twilight some new friends, as the ponies of this new world will have to learn true danger and bravery, and Twilight true friendship.
