It's a rainy day in Canterlot, but that doesn't stop a group of friends from having all the fun they can! Well, almost all of it. A certain unicorn is having some doubts, about herself, and her friends. Can they pull through this, and show her that they'll always be together, or will things never be the same as when she was with them?

After returning to Canterlot to teach Moondancer the Haycart Technique, Twilight and her friend decide to catch up. This leads Twilight to produce a rather personal question. Moondancer's reply is even more personal and an absolute shock to the Princess of Friendship.

Rated Teen for a slightly sexual reference. Otherwise this story is pretty cutesy. So be warned!

Moondancer shut herself off from the world when Twilight decided to study instead of attending her party. That is not a normal reaction to a negative response from somepony with the mental status of "friend." A snub from a crush, however...

Determined to reconnect with her old Canterlot friends, Twilight Sparkle heads to Canterlot. But when she sees what kind of impact she had on Moondancer by skipping her party, she knows just what to do to fix it.

Twilight really hurt Moondancer's feelings by not showing up to her party. Even though she had other friends, Moondancer had planned a very special party for her very special friend, Twilight Sparkle. This party was going to be the place where she finally confessed her secret feelings to Twilight.

This is what might have happened if Twilight had made time for her friend.

We've known each other for years. You were the only one who ever understood me. All those books we shared, all those nights studying together. Did it mean anything to you? Did you even think of me once before you threw me away?

And now you're back. Just leave me alone why don't you?

After a long night of partying with her old friends at the Castle Courtyard, Moondancer once again heads back home.

But despite all the good that has transpired that night... and unbeknownst to anypony else... there are still some inner demons left for her to confront when she arrives.
