Everyone knows the saying, 'No good deed ever goes unpaid', or something along the same length. In my case, however, when I discovered this odd guy kidnapping people at a Comic-Con and tried to stop it, said payment ended up with me in a world where everything's pastel-colored, and it's a virtual race of me against the world as I try to find all of the Great Kanohi scattered around the country. Oh, yeah, and for some reason, I'm now techno-organic, and I have to work with technicolor ponies to find Kanohi all around the world that grant me new forms of Toa.

...Whatever happened to 'normal'?!?!

Long ago Celestia imprisoned a powerful, dangerous entity. Too bad nobody seems to realize he's a harmless dope.

This story started out as a parody of the two stories Machinations in the Dark and Celestia's Prophet. You may wish to read them first to get some context for the first chapter.

Now has a tvtropes page!

This story is a sequel to Clean Slates

Twilight Sparkle: Brilliant, Powerful, Sociable, the very model of the modern major unicorn. She, however, has a poorly kept secret. Her memory for everything non academic is terrible!

Caution: Contains adorable young twilight.

Shoutouts and mad props to Georg's "The monster in the twilight" and Commander x5's "Twiny" series for inspiring this.

I need a Smart Pants tag.

Peaches. Peaches are awesome. Peaches are best fruit. James and the Giant Peach is my favorite movie. Obviously, when I got the funds to go to Comic Con, I dressed as a giant peach.

For some reason, people hate peaches. They should hate Apples. Apples are evil. My old peach tree told me that, and because I didn’t listen, one of them burned my house down.

Continuity: Optional, or for as long as I remember the plot.

Blueshift, this is all your fault.

Author's Note: I didn't try. At all. If this gets upvotes, I'll start seeing how many sharks I can jump intentionally because this does not deserve it.

Berry Punch likes to think that she's a fairly-normal pony, who lives in a fairly-normal town filled with other fairly-normal ponies.

Unfortunately, her house is anything but normal, in any sense of the word.

Twilight is an expert when it comes to magic. Everypony knows that.

What they don't know is, that doesn't include knowing how to heal burns, sew tissue back together, reduce swelling, fix broken and/or dislocated bones, deliver babies, hoof out shots, cure cancer, use lab coats, walk around with a cane - you know, doctor stuff.

However, that doesn't stop them from coming in and asking for help.

Short review by Singularity Dream

This fic is a kind-of sort-of parody to the many fics that include curing the many misfortunes/illnesses via Twilight Sparkle.

I am writing this in an attempt to get my inspiration back up at full speed. If this does well, I may do more.

Also, for me to get better development out of this, and because it fit, I'm using unicorn Twilight instead of alicorn

I grew up alongside my mother on our small island, only the occasional merchant interceding our lives. She always told me that I was special, but that's just what mothers do right?

She told me to always remember that my wings were a good thing, that I should never dislike them.

I never understood what she said until I left our little island in the sky, when, for better or worse, my life changed.

Cheers to Golden Script for editing chapter one.

Big thanks to Jsyrin for the cover art.

Scheduled to be rewritten.
