Twelve years after the Crusaders discovered their true nature, an ancient evil has returned. Celestia is hurt, magic is weakened, and Equestria is nearly lost. Now our heroes must find a way to fix things before time runs out, and the world falls to darkness forever. They'll join forces with friends they've made around the world, utilize amazing new breakthroughs in science and magic, and get help from some of the most unexpected of sources as they try to fix The Hole In The Sun.

Twilight Sparkle expected that her life would change when she exalted as an alicorn and became a princess of Equestria. That much was obvious. What she didn't expect was to learn of the threats that besiege Equetria every day, the kind of threats that would drive mortal ponies mad and make the mighty despair.

Twilight is no stranger to saving the world, but can she manage to maintain her relationships with those close to her when she has become something much more than any of them? And what happens when foes from the distant past threaten to topple even the Exalted Alicorns?

Welcome to Equestria, here's your shovel. This is My Little Pony playing by the rules of Exalted.

A handful of pages recount a remarkable journey to Equestria by someone who sought only a little peace. The story continues in Justice, and concludes in Hope.

A human wakes up to find that not only has he been altered in species and gender, but that he has also landed halfway across the world from Equestria, in an unfamiliar land.

This is not that story. Not yet, anyway.

A decade in passing and Kaz has gained a reputation as a member of a well-known group of explorers traveling the world. Not once have they set foot on Equestrian soil, and she was content to keep it that way, for her appearance would bring about unwanted attention from a few certain ponies and one certain baby dragon. So what happens when the rest of the group hears of unbelievable tales of Equestria, and decide that it's time they paid a visit?

An impending disaster, that's what.

Inexperience is a foreign concept to Celestia. At least she thinks it is. Right up until the moment a rash decision leaves her with a student who is a dozen years younger than what she's used to.

Now she must once again face the horrors of the apocalypse alongside friends, family, and newcomers, all while fighting to survive and find a way back home. But with endless hordes of infected, and even the military in her way, will she be able to make it back, much less survive?

After a long day of work, Ditzy (Derpy) Doo wakes in the night to find that she is in the middle of the zombie apocalypse. Worst of all, the zombies arent even ponies! Instead, they are some strange type of two-legged creatures with hands. fortunately for her, she is found by four of these creatures that dont seem infected. But can they help her escape this nightmare? For that matter, can any of them escape the hell-hole of a city they find themselves in?

Good morning, afternoon, night, or whenever you're reading this. My name is Edward, aka 'patient 42', and I am currently residing in an insane asylum.
Why?
I suppose it all started When the ruler of this place called Equestria tasked her personal student, Twilight Sparkle, to travel to Earth and study the human race.
Unfortunately for Twilight, when she teleported to our world she, well... she appeared in the middle of the road. Right in front of my car. Needless to say, this put a pretty big dent in her expedition. ...as well as my car's bumper.

Sounds crazy, right? But hey, maybe thats the reason why I'm in this cell.
Point is, The story I'm about to tell you is the tale of events sparked by that ill-fated night.

note: In this plane of existence, the franchise "My Little Pony" does not exist. In short; this is not, nor will it ever be, a 'brony meets pony' story.
Also, on a more recent note, I had this idea and began writing way back in S2, so this is in no way inspired by EqG. (also, its non-alicorn twilight)
