Equestria has driven off several horrors to keep the beautiful pony way of life alive. The agent of chaos known as Discord, the demon that infected a Princess' heart known as Night Mare Moon, other and sundry lesser threats.

The Princess-goddesses Luna and Celestia have long been loving protectors of the ponies and the land, both directly and through the careful choosing of those among the ponies who are just a bit special. Those ponies who felt the True Courage.

Now Equestria faces something new. Something not even Night Mare Moon could be called. Something truly evil, and so powerful that there is doubt that even the Elements of Harmony will be of any use in defending ponykind.

Archer is not having a good day. He's recently been knocked unconscious and imprisoned by a Fae race, notorious for their animosity towards humans and each other. Instead of cannibalistic Merfolk or mischievous Fairies, he finds... talking ponies. Who want him to be their "friend."

He is sentenced to remain in a small town they call "Eqshana", until he can learn to "live in harmony" with its inhabitants. Unfortunately, a message from his king, Jove V, has turned his prison sentence into a mission of espionage. Now he must escape these no-doubt insidious creatures, and even more importantly, stay sane doing it. Along the way, he will answer one of the most important questions he has ever faced: Is there really nothing to eat around here besides hay?

A few years have passed since first contact between ponies and men. The gap between worlds has secretly been bridged and it is possible to travel between the United States and Equestira.

The President hopes that the American public will be receptive, but on the way to the press conference something goes terribly wrong.

Shawn Spencer, psychic detective, is a thick-tufted boy genius who ice skates through life on polished blades of snarky eloquence. A strange unicorn has entered Ponyville. He seems simple enough, but anyone who talks to him for more than a passing moment realizes that all is not as it seems. What his purpose there is, not even he fully knows.

My first step into the writing arena, the obvious first hurdle I seemed to stumble over was that of the Gary Stu. I considered rewriting it to be otherwise now that I've had some experience, but it wouldn't be worth it with how short it's going to be. So enjoy if you will, and you've been forewarned.

A human in Equestria learns to cope with the struggles of a new world, discovering for himself all the differences that separate him and the inhabitants of Equestria.

He is a college drop-out part-time worker. He is a dentistry student. Together, they are two total twats with no ambitions to go further then the next game, comic book or puff.

And now, they are ponies. Under the names of Lucky Chance and Midnight Watch they must find a way back to the human world using their extensive knowledge of the television show, the Laws of Narrative and sarcasm.
Will they be able to rise above themselves and face the many challenges that await them? Will they be able to figure out the true meaning of Friendship? Will they be able to not murder each other or themselves while doing so? Do they even want to go back?
