After the disaster on the Friendship Express, the three involved in the incident go their separate ways, and handle it all differently.

Applejack tries to fix her broken bond with Rarity by reliving her fillyhood, Pinkie Pie plays matchmaker for her two pegasi friends while pursuing her own love interest in her long-time crush, and Spike dreams of an alternate reality which he loves so much he cannot bear to wake up.

Three different stories weave together, and the choice will no longer be a Misconception...but it is not yet Clear...it is now Garbled. The gears of Rarity's mind click together, but what choice will come out?

After serving a major head injury, Spike has forgotten everything about the recent years. Now it is up to Rarity and the rest of his family to help him get it back.

This story takes place in a continuity where the human and pony worlds have been in contact for three years. Our main character is Eric, a human who lives in Canterlot as an aspiring writer. He's relatively new to the pony world, and he loves everything about it.

Well... almost everything.

There's one thing that never fails to get under Eric's skin: his next-door neighbor, and our second main character, Discord. The guy constantly comes into his house uninvited, eats all the food, and, well, causes chaos! His venting about his never-ending on-and-off relationship with Celestia doesn't make things any better, either. Eric and Discord have lived next to each other for a year now, and the two still maintain a complicated frenemy relationship.

To add to Eric's complications is his crush on Azure Gem, a mare that works across the street from the bookstore where he works. His goal of getting her to like him is second only to his worry that Discord will screw everything up.

This story contains anthro ponies and modern technology since the humans and ponies have been in contact for a while. I won't go all-out though. Ponies still write letters from time to time, and they won't be driving cars everywhere.

Instead, they both make a horrifying discovery, one which forces Discord to infiltrate the infamous Changeling Hive. When Sombra, ex-ruler of the Crystal Empire, is discovered alive and well, Twilight has her hooves full keeping the tyrannical king in check. Instead of the original plan of throwing him in a dungeon or banishing him to Tartarus, Celestia decides to go with the plan that worked out well enough for Discord.

Pinkie takes the job, and gets right to work in helping Sombra become a better pony. Will Sombra finally change from his old, wicked ways and reform? Or will he instead strangle the annoying, pink menace known as Pinkie Pie?
