Discord is seen by many as a monster. Princess Celestia has told the story of discord the spirit of chaos and disharmony, but no pony knows the truth behind it all, until one day Twilight finds an old artifact that tells the story behind the conflict between Celestia and Discord. She finds that Monsters aren't born they are created and that not all stories end 'happily ever after'...

Discord has been trapped for a year now, anger and his sadness has been bubbling beneath his skin more and more on each passing day and soon enough he begins to doubt himself. When Celestia herself frees him from stone he starts to follow a new path. However, when an evil stirs from Discord's past will he be able to step forward and confront it or will he flee in terror from the darkest aspect of the Equestrian lands, the creature that was and still is, father to Discord.

This will contain some gore later, I'm not entirely sure how in depth it will be but better to be safe then sorry. Slight romance will also be seen later but between whom? Lastly, this is in fact my first fanfiction and whilst you probably don't care about that please be gentle. Needless to say, my body is not ready but I shall grin and bear the criticism. Just, please, don't go overboard.

For the past year, Spike has lov-liked Rarity. However, when Twilight lays down flat his chances with the beautful unicorn, Spike is devastated. By chance, he meets a strange pony, who offers him help on his love affairs.

An ancient evil is about to rise from a third alicorn, and our only hope lies in the claws of a young dragon. Will he be able to stop this evil? Or will he die without telling the one he loves how he truly feels.

As Spike matures, so do his feeling for Rarity, and his drinking problem as well. After a few nights at the local pub Spike finally tries his luck with Rarity, kind of.

Discord and Celestia have fled from the shackles of the castle and are living free to cause chaos. Only Problem? Celestia doesn't know how. Discord is put through his paces as day after day he must try and make Celestia shake off years of royal etiquette and 'proper' magic training while Celestia worries his magic is having an adverse effect on her free will.

Sequel to Controlled Chaos, Chaotic Control but it's not necessary you read that first. Though it would be nice.

Discord is defeated and petrified in his stone prision, When Celestia remembers how he used to be, she unintentally wishes upon the stars themselves that he could have had a chance to show his true self.

In Equestria, wishes have a tendency to come true.

Now in an altered form, Discord must discover what role he is to play if he is to remain free and spread the joyous chaos he loves so...

An unexpected turn of events have lead to Discord's freedom, but his plans are turned asunder when Twilight Sparkle accidentally badly injures him.

Vulnerable and weak, the spirit is taken in under the ever watchful, gentle and concerned eyes of Fluttershy. Through this time of healing, the pegasus discovers that there's more to this miscreant than meets the eye, and she's determined to prove it.

Through this process dark secrets are revealed, pain is revealed, and gradually a hidden side never seen of the draconequus, and Fluttershy struggles to push him and past friends back together.

Will she ultimately have an effect on his indifferent heart or this only another one of his dastardly plans?

Spike is helping Rarity at Carousel Boutique when disaster strikes. But love blooms in the worst of conditions, strengthened by the fire. Yet a romance between a pony and a dragon is bound to have certain... complications, that will require an epic adventure and the strongest of love to overcome.

Authors notes: The first chapter is super short (its also really awesome if I do say so myself) but the rest won't be. Promise. There will be some combat later on, but at the moment, it won't be super graphic, so again, dodging a bullet. The first 2 or 3 chapters will be a little sad/tragic, but its not the tone of the story, and its nothing to bad so they won't be tagged. The entire story will not be written like the first chapter.
