In this sequel/prequel to Distorted World, Spike gets sent on a mission to the Badlands to be an ambassador to a village of dragons. But, what is this about a prophecy, and something about a chosen one sent to slay an evil dragon tyrant? Tired of being left behind all the time, Spike sets out on his own to prove that he can be a hero. He's always longed to be one, but does he really have what it takes? Will he find out what it means to be one of his kind? Or, will he discover something else entirely? One thing's for sure, there's more to this situation than meets the eye... Book Two of the 'Undestined Hero Trilogy'

Rainbow Dash was never the kind of pony to care about what stallions thought of her, or at least that was what everypony assumed. When Spike finds out that what she really wants is to to be treated like a lady, he offers take her on a date. After all, it was just one date.

Taking Place during season 4, the mane 6 have once again gone to the Crystal Empire leaving behind a very depressed Spike who wonders if his friends really are his friends at all. Princess Celestia and Princess Luna decide to take Spike with them on their personal one week vacation.

Spike has tried to become the perfect knight; unfortunately Rarity rejects him. His cries of anguish do not go unheard in the moonlit night. Luna comforts the ailing dragon however her hurting heart yearns too. Meanwhile Rarity realizes what she is missing and sets forth to undo her mistake. However, as Spike gets closer to the Night Princess intrigue is sure to follow.

Five years after the events of Shadow Play, things have changed for Spike. He now has a pair of wings, he's the size of a teenage dragon...and he had to watch Rarity be engaged to another pony. Naturally, this crushed him, but it's four years after the fact.

Still, he has several regrets over how he handled things with Rarity. Wanting to know how to get past this, he takes up Applejack's advice and asks Twilight how to talk to girls in a romantic way. She agrees to help him get past his issues, but Spike soon discovers feeling he didn't expect, buried feelings that were there for years. It catches him off guard big time.

The question will soon become: Should he go forward with those feelings?

Follow Spike as he embarks on everyday adventures alongside the Elements as well as a wide variety of colorful characters in Ponyville and beyond. There will be laughs and tears - happy moments and sad moments.

Family may not always be easy, but Spike knows they'll always be together no matter what.

It's been days since the greedy manipulator Sludge was revealed to have lied about being Spike's Father. Spike, originally excited to have had an actual dragon as a parental figure, now fears he will never have a family outside of Twilight to call his own.

However, despite Spike's hesitations, Twilight insists that he goes on a mission to tell each of their close friends what happened in regards to Sludge's scheme and form a bond with them. Spike has his doubts though as he fears the others aren't family and will reject him. Nevertheless, he sets out on a very personal mission.

How will each pony react to finding out that the baby dragon was taken advantage of as an excuse for room and board? Will they be able to help Spike and show that they love him? Will Spike discover that there's more to a family than he originally thought?

This story is a sequel to Longing

Scootaloo's tenth birthday party is coming up. It should be a happy occasion. But she still can't fly, and she doesn't have her cutie mark yet. But that's the least of her problems...Is she a runaway? An orphan? Stuck in an abusive home? She wishes. Nothing could be worse than what's really going on...

Takes place six months after the events of Longing

After returning from the Dragon Migration, Spike begins to feel even lonelier with an empty space inside him (even though he proclaimed the ponies as his family)... All he wants is one thing really and the only pony who can give him that is a certain lavender unicorn

The friends we take for granted are often the ones that leave the largest impact on our lives. When Spike falls seriously ill with a mysterious disease and the ponies strive to nurse him back to health, Twilight Sparkle comes to grips with this very realization about her number one assistant--and friend.

EDIT: So this little story made it on Equestria Daily on 10/8/12. Now please excuse me while I pass out on Rarity's fainting couch while murmuring a soft Fluttershy "...yay."
